far out!!! that is just so way cool lol now where do you people find 1/8 in Baltic burch or 1/8 inch any kind of wood? its hard to find around here.. do you have to ask the lumber yard to cut it for you? or maybe im just not looking in the right places at lows and marnareds...

our hobbies sure can keep us in turmal!! I don't know how many different crafts iv done where for one reason or another things just don't seem to be going my way!! I USED to do a lot of flinging things across the room in disgust with me the project and the materals I was using lol I no longer fling things across the room lol iv mellowed a bit in my old age..lol in stead I gently slam the uncooperative piece on the table counter of what ever and mumble and grumble as I walk away in total disgust!! lol just this morning I sewed one row of my sweater backwards!! then I tried to tear it out so I could fix it, but since the border and the sewing are in white I couldn't really takeout the stitches ( I tried ) without wreaking thewhole thing grrr !!! so I just set it aside for a few hours and then decided well since its just for me I don't really have to fix it lol and maybe nobody will notice one row is sewed on backwards and im going to make that the last row of the sweater so I can always say I did it on purpose so that it would be different !! lol hey im the only one except now you guys who knows its a mastake lol

fantastic!! those are beautiful...! when I get my new small blads in im going to try to do the scroll saw pattern of my first service dog Charlie, and if I get that done ok i'll see if I can get one of you wounderful people to make me a pattern of my beloved sheba. …

woundeful work!!! it looks great!!! I use both the regular blades and spirals for that very reason and because its sometimes just easer to not have to turn the wood in tight corners.

wow!! that is great!! your daughter is one lucky girl im sure she will treasher it forever. when I first started working with wood I made my little sister ( she was 8 at the time ) a box with a secret compartment it in, and did the line cutting to make a couple of pictures on it....shes now in her 50s and she still has it to my surprise ! lol

Now that is absolutely beautiful!!! I hope to some day be able to do something like that !! you people are inspiring!!

I cut one out for me to way back when, then my little brother visited and fell in love with it so of course it went out the door with him!! one of these days im going to stack cut a few more and this time im not going to let anybody have mine!! lol I say that and laugh because spike says I say that every time someone whats something lol oh well

lol Justin, I started wearing a face mask because I promished my mom I would when she found out I have copd. lol she wanted me to quit doing wood working but like I told her what good is living longer if I cant do the things I love doing? then she asked me if my lung dr knew I scroll....loll well lying to mom was never a good idea so I had to tell her no, and im not telling him either lol although I can do lots of different crafts woodworking and scrolling are my favorite!! just wish I could do more of it while sitting in my Livingroom chair watching tv!! I use to do a lot of my sanding in the Livingroom but spike would rather I didn't do that lol means we have to vacuem more often and its hard for him to hear the tv lol me to but when im working im not listening that much lol and now I have to go let my little puppies in lol

now that is more then fantastic!! I look at all the stuff you guys do and it makes my stuff seem so simple lol but that's ok im just a simple old lady !! lol and you never know I might just attempt something harder after I get my 2 and 3 blades... I think that's what makes cutting fret work espicaly with real close lines easer and helps prevent the breaking you did a wounderful job!!

what a wounderful thank you for your friend!!! his bread looks good too!! now is he using yeast or is it a yeastless bread? also is he doing it all by scratch and by hand or does he use a bread making machine ? I would have loved to have had a bread machine when my kids were little lol I finally stoped making homemade bread because the family would eat it faster the I could make it!! lol iv thought of getting a bread machine and making home made bread for me and spike but spike says that's to much work for just a loaf of bread!! lol can you tell I at oe time worked in a bakery? lol I even know how to get the fillig into long johns and jelly donets lol

ok here are the pictures of what iv been working on I made 2 sets of steves lift people for the dewalt since that's the machine I have. now I could have just left both sets blank, but that's now me lol so I made my little people into me and spike. lol spike usuly wears jeans and a tee shirt and since he was wearing a red tee shirt when I painted these he's wearing a red tee shirt, and im of course in jeans and a pretty top. now for the faces, I lowered the wood face some and then glued spikes head picture and my head picture in to on the wood face. now sine spike dosnt really have any hair that's all I did with him now for me when I lowered the face a bit I tried to take care and only lower the face leaving the hair at its orginal hight. and yes I relize my hair is now white lol but I decided to make a younger version of me from when my hair was blond back then. lol I will put one set in the wood shop so they can hold up my scroll saw arm, the second set will just sit on my nick nack shelf. im thinking of making more of these for family and friends using there pictures. im just now sure what to do about the arms being up lol I need to think of something for these people to be holding up over there heads. now if I knew of anyone who still fished I could do one of my comopnd cut fish for the little people to be holding up over there heads...but none of us has been fishing in years lol I think these might be something that would sell except for the fact that I would need a small picture of someones face to put into it lol not everyone knows how to edit pictures to crop and then make the right sized head and not everyone has a program like printshop to make this easer to use lol oh well I have me ad spike and if I can think of something to put In the hands they might not look like there holding there arms up as if in a stick up!! lolnow i come to the birds in there bird cages. I made four of these and put up some up some pictures of then in progress as well as pictures of the finished item. now the first and last pictures of the birdcages and birds is after I cut out the pieces and started sanding them, don't ask me why the computer put one at the top and one at the bottom as that is not how I put them in here lol then comes the pictures of them after being painted. the next picture is of them hanging in the work shop after being polyurthined and last but not least is a close up of one of them after I put the feathers on them and the very last picture is of one of the finished birdcages and birds ready to put in the craft boxes. now of course I have to decide on what I want to start or work on next!! lol I don't think i'll be in the wood shop tomarrow as I have to sew all my granny squares into a sweater lol I just hope it will fit me lol id hate to have to give it away lol besides im not sure who besides me woud want a granny squared sweater lol they were real popler back when I was a teen and very young adult but I don't think many people today would want one lol I am still a prodict of my generation !!! spikes little flower girll hippy !! lol like I told spike the only old part of me is my body ! lol

thank you everyone, it is nice to be able to show my work to someone again. I mean someone other then spike !lol hes always honest about what i need to do to make something better but for the mmost part he likes everything i do . lol

lol yes it is fun to use and watch and much faster to make then the crochet verson. lol i keep telling myself im going to crochet one for me and make a wood one for me too but alas lol im sure you guys know how that gos lol espicaly since ever one iv made for me someone else has begged for lol because after all i can always make another for myslef so why dont i just give them the finished one lol

great work/!! now if spike and i werent going to get married in the next 5 years or so id make one for myself....my last name is jones . !!! ha ha i didnt go back to my madian name as it would have made life a tad bit confusing for others as my name and my kids names would have been different, both my madin name and jones was easy to go to as i am not a good speller lol my madian name was day...lol jones is real easy to spell to. now when spike and i get married my last name will be kortvely lol i had to ask spike if i had it spelled it right lol he said yes so im doing good lol

im so sorry for the loss of your friend...i am sure your beautiful urn brings comfort to your friend, even though he is gone and im sure he loves his new home, just as i know his wife is comforted by your beautiful beautiful work and love for her husband
