lol you need to take a bow!!! i love them all!!! i have that flower and vase pattern....have been meaning to make it.....was it hard to put everything together?

well havent been here much lately mainly due to my wounderfuly frustrating cnc machine!!! lol and we havent even gotten it up and running yet....spike finally got it put together and then ....yup another problem we found that some of the wires had broken....grrr!!! spent most of the day on line talking to wounderful people on the facebook sight for my cnc about how to go about getting new wires... just loged back on there and found they had a few answers for us YEA!!! Spike said he will fix my cnc machine might take only a couple of days or worse case couple of weeks depending on how long it taks to get the wires... in the mean time i have carine create loaded on both my computers so i can read directions on one and use the other one to actually do some of the stuff in the lessons i downloaded for it..... have to look up candle and see what that is and what it does....as iv forgotten....i think i take the stuff from carbine crete once its done and transfer it to candle in order to make the machine work....but like i said have to re read it as i could be thinking of something else....i tend to learn more easely by doing then reading but up and onward!!! in the mean time im working on my wizzard pattern, finishing up and painting compound cut plant pokes and the star ships i cut out..have to drill really small holes in one or two of them so i can make plant pokes out of them too... and of course im working on some of my other craft projects too.... lol now to go to bragging rights to see what the rest of you have been doing !!! lol

thank you all for the wounderful help!!! after spike settled down...we had a talk.... hes not having trouble understanding the directions....he understands and knows what the directions are telling him to do, its more a the fact that the parts are so small and his hands are so big!!! lol hes working on it now and hes doing fine.... we did have a slight problem with putting in one of the wire things..even i couldnt get my hands in there to plug it in....but he sloved the problem he took the part that was keeping us from plugging in the wire off pluged it in and then put it back on again. ... i should have known better then to think he couldnt figure out how to put it together...lol and he said we'll worry about t he math after we get it together....as you know we COULD get a calulator to help me do the math...all id have to do is have someone show me how to do thei fraction lol but we're not going to worry about that just yet....so HES doing fine...me on the other hand am not have a great start to the day.... grrr!! when i loged onto my computer everything was super big!! and the usual stuff didnt work to fix it.... so i had to restore my computer to its orgina settings...which of course deleted a few programs i had downloaded....and of course im having trouble trying to reinstall the games i had downloaded..well iv managed to get facebook working and now this sight and finally my yahoo mail working....if its stil working after i get this sent off because i have no idea how i got the email to work in the first place!!! lol so if im not on for a day or so its because im trying to get my computer to work again.... and i dont want to ask spike to help me...first because hes trying to put the cnc machine together and second i think he needs a break from me and my problems...lol well i need a break from the computer now so i'll be back when i can lol

sigh, im not sure at this point that we'll even keep mine.....spike spent half the day trying to put it together and hes a nervious wreak now....and it still isnt all put toghter and we havent even gotten to the electric computer parts...sigh i dont know if he'll be willing to eveb try to tackle it tomorrow or not and i dont know anyone who could come over and help us with it.... im tired depressed and i have a headace.... and i cant do math at all really and spike can only do simple math.... so it seems were not smart enough...going to go to bed and pray we can take what hes managed to put together apart again so we can pack it all up and send it back....

ok i finally got spike to settle down some and take a break , and to go on line to watch a vido on how to put this machine together..... one of the biggest problem he has is that his hands are to big to do some of this stuff.... he has a feeling that i just waisted a whole lot of money sigh..... great the vido spike was watching didnt really show him how to put it together...going to go see if i can find a better vido sigh

Hi guys, just woundering if any of you live near bellevue Mi, and if you do could you come out and help us put the cnc machine together?

no they werent stuffed...just baked to almost burnt with lots of pepper.....i like my meat dry and very well done......spike had to go into town...or rather the bigger town 20 miles away to get something....when he gets back he said he will help me try to put it together....i was thinking id more be watching him put it together ..... i tend to mess up everything i tr;y to do.... i know what you mean about the math.... im afraid i will have to send it back before the time is up as i have little to no math skills and spikes is more just simple math....i got both computers up and running so i could try to download easle but theres a download for winzip update driver and i don tknow if im suppose to down load that first or if its just an add or what sigh almost in tears oh well we will see i guess...i can hear spikes i told you so already

i glanced through all the messages and didnt see anyone doing it this way....if i did miss it im sorry. I do a lot of stack cutting to the way i do it is i take my glue gun and run a long bead on top of the wood all the way around you have to work fast as it dries fast...then i run a bead or two all along the sides...you have to make sure you are glueing all the levels....that usuly works for me....when i cant trace the pattern onto the wood after glueing i wrap masking tape around the wood then glue the pattern onto the masking tape then use clear packing tape to wrap around everything else....

welll i had to wait all day but finally about quter to 5 the ups man came and dropped it off! opened the box and took a peek but we wont be putting it together until tomarrow. its a little late to start something like now today.... wish the usb thingy was at the top of the box so i could install it and start reading the directions for the program but oh well at least its here now and its not going anywhere and nothing can happen to it!! now let us all pray that i will be able to understand the program and can learn how t o use it!!! the only thing that concerns me really is how much math will be invloved with it....but i have spike here to help me with that and once i know where i'll down load patterns for it onto a jumpdrive plus save what ever patterns i might be able to manage to make to a jump drive too...that way if anything happens to spike i'll still have some patterns i can use...well smells like the pork chops are done so im off to get eat a little something

ok trying to settle down now....What the email SAID was that my order for the cnc machine had been delivered on the 22nd. which i THOUGHT they were saying the machine had been delivered and of course it wasnt. Spike told me not to panic but of course by then it was to late i was in full panic mode....i mean its not an expensive machine but for me thats a LOT of money. Spike knew something wasnt right because he ordered the machine from his email address and i ordered the bits from mine even though i paid for both. so he couldnt figure out why they would send me an email saying that the machine had been delivered,,,,espcaly since they had already sent him an email saying the machie would be deliveread on wensday.... tomarrow any way he looked at the computer and then got both print outs from our orders and that cleared everything up....all he had to do was look at the service numbers? on our print outs and yes it was the number for the blades and not the machine.....took a xanax and am waiting for my body to catch up with my mind and finally calm down lord id better die first because if i cant handly simple things like this i dont even want to know whats goning to happen to me if he dies first....

spike says about 6 inches in diameter maybe a little smaller but not much and im going to google bowl adze and see how much they are...we wont try hollowing it out with the chain saw....iv been woodworking for decaides and still have all my fingers and limbs and intend to keep it that!! lol for me and spike...and if nothing else i'll just dig out my old big chisels and a hammer and hollow it out that way. lt would defently take a long time but i have more time then money anyway. lol and thanks for mentioning the drain hole!! i hadnt thought about that!! now assumeing i get them hollowed out sometime before i die do i coat the inside of the logs before i use them?? is there anything else i need to do with them? the pictures iv seen of this kind of planter there usuly resting between 2 v shaped legs and spike can help me make those...he dosnt always need a pattern lol

defently hard to tell it from the real thing lol we had 22s rifles and shot guns hanging on ourliving room wall all the years i was growing up.. dad finally let me try to shoot the shot gun after my telling him long enough and loudly enough that it wasnt fair not teaching me too just because i was a girl lol darn thing knocked me flat on my back!!! after that i just stuck to the bb guns and 22s lol not that it mattered since i couldnt hit the broad side of a barn lol

Thanks keven, im going to print out the instructions for it tonight/ tomarrow so i have time to read the directions a bit and become a little more fimular with the hole thing before it gets here...im sure in there it will tell me what softwair it uses or what program i need to download....

Ok like i said in another post i ordered a cnc machine Id ,like to download some patterns for it and have found a few sights that have free cnc patterns but they dont say HOW to download the patterns... if any of you know sights for free cnc patterns could you let me know where they are? espically patterns for beginners.... and could you tell me how to go about downloading them? i know its proubly a real easy process but i dont know f you just down load the picture or if theres some kind of code or something your suppose to download yup your right i have no idea what im doing or how to go about doine it!!! but hey thats never stoped me before!! lol its how i learned to do the many different crafts i do lol by reading books and looking things up on line and now i have a sight i can go to to help me get the answers i need.... the good thing about being housebound for 18 years was that i had plenty of time to teach myself how to sew knit crotchen and all the other crafts i know how to do...lol and dont ask me what the downside of having been housebound for 18 years is.....i dont see one lol but other people seem to think its a horrable thing.lol i know with my emboridy machine i have to use the code pes patterns to work with my machine and then it downloads a code of some kind that the machine reads in order to emborider the picture... so im woundering if the cnc patterns are downloaded the same way.. i tried doing a search on how to download cnc patterns but it just sent me to a sight that had free patterns which of course was nice but they didnt expline how to download them wel i hope that makes a least a little sense!!! and thanks guys

beautiful bird feeder!!! i have a few patterns for birdfeeders i want to make but first i have t figure out how to keep the squrells out of them lol i was thinking of trying to make a screen to put over top of it out of chicken wire but im afraid the squreels would still be able to get at the food...i know thre has to be a way to make it squreel proff while allowing the birds to get at the food

my dogs do the same thing, lol bark loudly lol i love the plaque, did you design it? and if so could i use the pattern and if i can i think others would love it to so would it be alright if i made it to sell if not thats fine i'll just make one for me and maybe my brother... he has lot s of dogs that make a ruckis when ever anyone walks by let alone makes it up to the pourch and the door lol

ok guys in our last big storm spike let me keep a few of the larger trunk pieces from the the trees that fell. Now what i want to do is cut the logs in half length wise and hollow out the centers to make planters out of them. I have a little ax i can try to use to cut out the middle to make the planter but im woundering if theres another or better way to it. iv lost a lot of my upper body strength so not sure if i can do that...but i'll give it a good try even if it takes me months to get it hollowed out that way! lol i know the logs have to dry first but i have 2 trunks that have been sitting for about 3-4 years that i want to start working with.. we have 2 brand new chain saws so cutting the logs in half wont be a proublem....im going to ask spike to let me use the chain saw to split the log...because im TRYING to learn how to do these things myself, because there will proubly come a time when spike wont be able to do it for me.....but im not going to hold my breath...he still hasnt let me use my table saw yet!! which he gave me for valinties days....lol id really rather use them the first time while hes here just in case something happens but if he dosnt let me use them soon while hes here im just going to use them when hes off galavanting around in the outside world....i can do that with the table saw...but i need to watch him use the chain saw befor i try to use it myself.. i do love that man SO MUCH!!1 and yes i know im not as healthy as i used to be BUT i'll be darned if im going to become an invallid !! He just wants to make life easer for me in my old age lol sometimes i wounder if he REMEMBERS hes 73!! lol any way if any of you have a better idea or methed of hollowing out the inside of the log please let me know.

ok lets see if i understand this i put the glue on both the picture and the wood? and no i havent waited 24 hours....doing these two things should slove the problem!!! thank you!!! now all i have to do is FIND my puzzle pictures lol
