    Great cut, I wish I could get some good cedar locally, I agree it is fun to work.

    OK, it is outside the box, used a vase pattern from Steve Good, and installed a Bluetooth speaker during the build. Inlaid the two birds. Used heart wood and aspen. The peacock feathers came from my fly tying bench. It has surprisingly good sound quality, the hardest part was figuring out the baffle over the speaker. Onward through the fog!

    With apologies to Judy Gale Roberts for the butchery of her pattern, I got this finished. I used a piece of spalted poplar I found by chance at the local Lowes. Backed it with 1/4 BB. Overall a fun project.

    Good cut, I do that also I usually have a fun cut going as I beat my head against the wall trying to learn intarsia that way I can take a break.

    I bought a set of needle files from Grizzly Tools and at first I thought they would be to fine but have worked out well.
