    Hi Everyone

Welcome to the forum, lots of good info here!
  3. Welcome to the forum, lots of good advice here from those in the know. They have kept my wood butchery to a minimum!
  4. I would assume that as long as you don't monetize the piece it should be fine. Like when you buy an album your are free to copy it onto your personal devices for listening as long as you don't sell the copies. However, assumptions are how lawyers make their living! I am also curious, any legal experts out there?
  5. Good looking, worth your effort!
  6. Really nice, I don't know about hanging close to Willy, they will start sharing tokes
  7. well done
  8. Beautiful work and I love the cherry, I think it is my favorite wood.
  9. Hi Badgerboy, I got the pattern from The Wooden Teddy Bear, they are close to me in Idaho and I get a lot of blades etc from them. The cherry spindles I got from Cherry Tree, forget where they are located.
  10. Well I gave this a try on the blue shop towels and it does a great job at a less price than tack cloths. Thanks.
  11. That looks great on the wall!

    Tiger

I really like the black hangover, I'll have to try it
  13. It is a Judy Roberts pattern. The fit was tough and it seemed to magically change each time I dry assembled it. And yes, a few pieces got cut twice!
  14. I finally got this done, or I should say as far as I can go. I used all hardwoods, wenge-cherry-walnut-tiger wood, and was really challenged. I think intarsia must be a foreign word that means taking good square and flat wood, cutting into odd shapes and then trying to piece it together in a pattern! Anyway I learned A LOT
  15. Very nice!
  16. Good job, I was thinking of doing this one, any tips?
  17. No I found the cherry pillars online. I would like to learn to turn things, maybe a small lathe is in my future.
  18. That is very unique. Nice work and IMHO I think it looks great in BB.
  19. Thanks for the tips, I chose not to use a backer on this because I never could decide what color so the fisherman would not look wonky and stand out. In 20 20 hindsight I maybe should have used a backer on just the bottom half. Next time!
  20. So, regular paper towel or the blue shop paper towel? I use the blue a lot, I'll give it a try, thanks for the tip!
  21. I did this out of cherry, and I have to say hanging it was the biggest problem. I ended up using the command adhesive hangers, not my favorite but I could not figure another way to get it close to the wall. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
  22. VERY COOL, how much time do you have in it?
  23. That is nice! Is purpleheart hard to work with being so hard? I have a chunk of it and was considering using it in a project.
  24. I am not that young, only 2 to go till70!
