  1. Another variation on a theme. I like it!
  2. Well Done!!!!! Note to self: add this technique to your "to-do list" of things to try.
  3. I have retractable casters on my scroll saw stands and a newly made bench for my table top router. They have worked well for me in the garage. https://www.amazon.com/SPACEKEEPER-Workbench-Caster-kit-Retractable/dp/B07QRH8VS2/ref=asc_df_B07QRH8VS2/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=365913144387&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=16440853423039295243&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1014906&hvtargid=pla-810822295110&psc=1&tag=&ref=&adgrpid=74513983885&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvadid=365913144387&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=16440853423039295243&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1014906&hvtargid=pla-810822295110
  4. Well, if that's what you can do during recovery, I'm looking forward to seeing what you can do when you are all better. NICE CUTTING!
  5. I got a HF light on sale - 4 LED tube type and hung it over my workbench. Gives plenty of light and eliminates shadows like those cause by the ceiling lights when I was working anything. The pull chain was sticking at the point where the chain goes into the switch, causing it to hang up. I shot a spritz of WD40 into it and now it works fine.
  6. I do the same thing. Works for me and well.
  7. Ditto on the clever! (as in 2 thumbs up )
  8. Many years ago I heard of a guitar player who played so hard he ripped the callouses from his fingers from time to time and used super glue to glue them back on and kept playing. Don't know if it's true but makes for a good story.
  9. Welcome to the Village. Scrolling is a pleasant and enjoyable pastime.
  10. Really nice work! Your painting makes everything pop.
  11. Welcome back from the land of tax-free shopping (Delaware). Joe W.
  12. Congrats and may you have many, many years of enjoyable scrolling.
  13. I got a similar type a couple years ago and use it for really tight patterns. I also wear glasses and have not had any problems using them together.
  14. Really good looking display! Maybe there is a merger in the works with the other scroller. Joined forces, you two could corner the market
  15. What a great idea! Thanks for sharing.
  16. I've been doing the same thing for a couple years now. Only use the wearable magnifer for the really small, tight patterns.
  17. Heck yeah! Looks Good
  18. You've come to the right place Lots of helpful people here who freely contribute their knowledge and experience.

I've pondered cutting out that pattern now and again. And you've just given me the motivation to make it happen. Good job!
  20. Oh, I like that! Another SG pattern to add to my to-do list. Thanks.
  21. 99% of everything I've cut thus far has been Steve Good patterns. Thank you Steve Good!
  22. Welcome to the Village from Delaware. Start practicing the phrase: "I can stop anytime I want." (It's that much fun). Ditto on the Steve Good website. Tons of valuable info he has shared over many years. And a good group of folks here with tons more experience they are willing to share.
  23. He is a good source of finishing information. My local library has his books and a DVD. Which is good for me - memory is becoming more of a fleeting thing for me
