  1. That is some INTENSE cutting. Well Done.
  2. Yes, I have . . . another SG pattern. For a customer at a Farmer's Market. Here are both the original and modified.
  3. What he said. May your brain never wander when you are cutting something like that.
  4. Good Job - Good Job!
  5. Wax on - Wax off - repeat as necessary - May your body never tire of it.
  6. Someone one the forum posted a photo and this was in it. It grabbed my attention - thinking: "Surely someone will want to buy this as a gag gift." We'll see if I'm right next month; got an event to set up my offerings. P.S. A Steve Good pattern. 3/4" white oak. I cut most of the outline with a bandsaw and #5 Pegas blades with the rest.
  7. That's a hard nut to crack - Leaving metal outside for an extended period of time. Aside from periodic spraying of WD-40 or sometime similar and waxing surfaces, I'm at a loss on coming up with a solution.
  8. You've earned a well deserved break - that's a lot of production there!
  9. Had this one on my to-do list for a long time. Another Steve Good pattern. I enlarged it a bit to 8 1/4" for the circle part. Add another inch for the wingtips. Used #7 Pegas Skip for the outer cut and mostly Pegas #5MGT for the interior cuts except for the few very small cuts. Wood is 1/2" reclaimed dresser top. I think maple or cherry, but I'm not good at determining wood type. Now to add the wood button feet on the bottom and finish it with something - to be decided.
  10. Ya are doing GREAT!
  11. Another avenue to explore. THANKS!
  12. I started to think of how many hours you put into that. My head started hurting, so I stopped. Beautiful work!
  13. Yeah, I have one of those . . . helped a friend build a deck using special order Trex [3 week waiting time for an order] and I measured the last piece wrong and cut it wrong. I freaked out. I still have a piece of that displayed prominently in my workshop (garage) with a sign on it that says: "Are You Sure?" Full Disclosure: I still make mistakes, but I'd like to think . . . just not as often. Oh, and my friend is still a friend.
  14. Looks very good. I just came into some Canadian cedar myself. It does have a nice grain to it.
  15. I just finished these ( a Sue May pattern) for a friend of ours who has a daughter in a local fire department. 1/4" BBPly and several coats of Krylon spray Candy Apple Red paint.
  16. Hmmm, I'll have to try that - I've been using MS so far and it does color the wood a little.
  17. I Like It! What size is it?
  18. Yes, mine too. I say I have plenty of will power. But I don't have any "won't power" when it comes to her cooking.
  19. Welcome . Lots of useful info here. And good people too.
  20. Hmm, I too added 60 lbs to my 135 after Air Force basic training in 1971. Coincidence?
  21. Welcome to the Village from Delaware. One philosophy when it comes to buying tools: Buy once - Cry once. But to each their own. Good luck.
  22. I'm still way short of my first million, but my overall best seller (just got an order for two more) has been the Penny Drop Game (a Steve Good pattern). But I'm always on the lookout for anything just a little different from the stuff found at stores like Hobby Lobby.
  23. Welcome from Delaware! My wife and me spent a week in Denbigh Wales 5 years ago. Beautiful country. You will like this forum. A great place with kilos of tips and tricks.
  24. Thanks Frank. And now, off to ACE Hardware.
