  1. Nice. Another something for me to try next year.
  2. Yeah, I can see where you would spend a lot of time on that and allowing your mind to wander. Good job.
  3. Yesterday marked a year since I joined SSV. The year went by quickly and I learned A LOT here in The Village. Many thanks to Travis for maintaining it and all of you out there for sharing your knowledge and experiences. Without a doubt, it helped flatten my learning curve and continues to do so (Inkscape, finishes, etc.) Joe in Delaware
  4. Why, bless your stars! Clever and attractive.
  5. You hit the Home Run of Anniversary presents!
  6. Welcome to the Village from Delaware and . . . will the boys get a merit badge for their efforts?
  7. You Sir, are an inspiration! Conrats!!!
  8. You captured it beautifully.
  9. After cutting out 180+ Christmas ornaments I needed a change. 3/4" Oak sure cuts differently from stack cutting BB plywood. It was a nice change of pace. A couple of Steve Good's patterns. . .
  10. Extra husband points. You're a good man charley brown! Nice work!!

    Hello all,

Welcome from Delaware and keep coming back!
  12. I used the sheet shrink wrap on some puzzles yesterday and discovered that was too time consuming and too much effort. So, I'll use the bags if I do this again.
  13. CONGRATS and now enjoy reflecting on the fruits of your labors.
  14. WAY TO GO! Also, Michael's craft store sells shrink wrap 9 feet by 60 inches you can cut to size for individual items. Might be more cost effective.
  15. Nope - can't tell which was on the bottom. So how long did it take to cut them out? And how many blades did you use?
  16. It reminds of those EXPENSIVE Long-ga-burger baskets that used to be the rage years ago. Maybe give them a fancy name and make up a story about how they're made, and up the price to $80 bucks and who knows, you might get swamped with orders But seriously, mighty fine looking work you have there.
  17. With A LOT of stuff floating on the water waiting to be unloaded, I believe your sales will be good.
  18. Dang! Now I have to buy more wood (smiling). Nice work.
  19. That has the look of many (x3) hours of Ssawing. May your sales meet your expectations. And from the looks of what you have there, they should - really nice work and packaging.
  20. Welcome to the village. A lot of useful information here for everyone from beginner to advanced.
  21. This past January I bought a used (7year old) DeWalt SS for a little over $225. Replaced the connecting/Connector Rod, cleaned and greased the bearings and have used it quite a bit since. Currently stack cutting 3 1/4" BB Christmas ornaments and it's handling that well too.
  22. If you have Harbor Freight up your way, here is their offering. Yeah, I got one of those a few months back and it works fairly well, getting most of the fuzzies from what I've cut out. I'd buy it again.
  23. Clever use of patterns. Well done!
  24. What he said. May you sell out quick so you can get some rest.
  25. Hours and hours of a beautiful piece.
