  1. Got it in one Keefie! Couldn't have put it any better.
  2. With you all the way. I've used pc's for years and never been totally satisfied with Windows (particularly with the amount of virus's continuously written for it.) A few years ago I discovered Mac...and never went back. Worth every penny and more.
  3. Good to see you back Bob...we were beginning to think that you'd moved to another village.
  4. Hi Marg. You're not the only one...I've never heard of it either. I'm a little short of time at the moment so this one will need a little work. If you're unsure just print it off to the desired size and go the easy way with the felt pens. Sorry I can do more - I hope it's of some use to you. Anything else, just ask Kindest Regards, Nick.
  5. Great work, as always Kevin. Take it easy with your health.
  6. For what my opinion is worth Frank, the colours compliment themselves perfectly - and more importantly, your cuts are very clean. Pretty much the same quality as the rest of your work. It's nice to see, and in your own words..."Thanks for sharing with us". Kindest Regards, Nick.
  7. That's no problem at all. Just slow down a little and listen to the docs. Just wondered how far you were from the nearest A&E? I know some places up there are a quite remote. My Father is a driver on the Strathspey Steam Railway, and he's fairly far from the nearest town (Inverness I think). Kindest Regards, Nick.
  8. Ahhhh! The famous cupboard key - I wondered if I'd ever get to see it. LOL
  9. Hope you're keeping well...just take it a little easier. Best Wishes & Speedy Recovery, Nick
  10. Amazing, and totally beyond me. (I have visions of myself holding the chainsaw - revving gently, and looking at my 4mm BB ply!)
  11. Ron is absolutely right. It's always worth checking both machines thoroughly. Your decision can only be made when you're comfortable with the correct saw for you. I've researched thoroughly for my new saw, and have found that I'm destined for an Excalibur EX-30 (the 30 is because some of my work is quite big). If you search and ask enough questions...you will come to the right decision.
  12. I hope everything goes well, Sul. Onwards and upwards...just keep things real, and keep us all informed. Best Wishes, Nick.
  13. Chips in the back of their coat hood is far better Roly LOL
  14. Oh dear Roly...watch that waistline 'Bread 'n' Drippin - it's the end of many a good un'!
  15. No problems Ron - you're only 2 letters away. LOL
  16. Yep...know where you're coming from - Grandmas fresh bread has yet to be created to the true recipe.
  17. Ohhhhh...careful there Dutch. It's the curse of the 'Disney Lawsuit'. Not sure where you stand - you may be ok if it's made by you, for you. (Said with lots of sarcasm)...after all, we wouldn't want them to loose out on some money. That's why the rich get richer and they stand on the underdog. If you find it's ok to do, and you struggle for a pattern - give me a shout and I'd be more than happy, friend. Kindest Regards, Nick
  18. Oh...if we're moving on from 'Tea 'n' Biscuits' to 'High Tea or Supper'...crumpets (with good yellow butter) is certainly up at the top of the list. Nice one! LOL
  19. Oh no man...have I started 'The Great UK Biscuit Debate?' I've got to admit that the long gone Coffee Cream was always a favourite...but now (watching the waistline) I can go 1 or 2 choc hob nobs or maybe a little shortbread (you listening Rob?)
  20. (In a bad Irish accent)...Calm it down there Roly - next you'll be after mi lucky charms!
  21. Google "GIMP Layers". It's done by opening multiple images, arranging them and merging visible layers. Regards, Nick.
  22. HELP! "Roly, Keefie, Rob...any Brit. I'm feelin' really nauseous about this biscuits 'n' gravy thing - I have visions of a huge plate if Custard Creams covered in Bisto! LOL
  23. Oh dear Paul. Is it an age thing LOL? Have you forgotten one of your other good ones? (Hope this helps Ron - courtesy of Grampa of course) Kindest Regards, Nick.
  24. So sad Kevin, but in some ways the best ending for something inevitable. You clearly cared, and the family know it. Nice work, again. Kindest Regards, Nick.
  25. Thanks for the info Ron. I though it was just the throat that was obviously bigger, but to be honest I'm pretty impressed by the EX-21 anyway. I'm really tempted because I do enjoy working on the larger pieces. Regards, Nick.
