New Guy Posted November 21, 2015 Report Posted November 21, 2015 (edited) About 6 or 7 inches on the ground and still snowing and the snow blower will not start. I'm getting to old for this. Picture for you snow birds. Snow stopped at 5PM ended at 10 inches. Edited November 21, 2015 by New Guy Quote

dgman Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 What is this snow blower thing? What is it used for? Phantom Scroller, Jim Finn and spoth28 3 Quote
orangeman Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 dgman, As best as I can tell a snowblower is a mechanical device used by the White House to create snow jobs. We don't have those devices in Georgia. Quote
Sycamore67 Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 My starts fine but the 8" of snow is too heavy and like slush. Going down to 8 degrees tonight so will freeze into giant ice berg. Quote

Going down to 8 degrees tonight so will freeze into giant ice berg. The bottom inch was slush here also. A snow like this is called a heart attack snow. Take your time cleaning it up. Quote

Sparkey Posted November 23, 2015 Report Posted November 23, 2015 I would rather be hot than cold. We just got a dusting. I'm not ready for snow. Quote
Lucky2 Posted November 24, 2015 Report Posted November 24, 2015 We just got 8" of the white stuff today, it'll be melted away in a day or two. These early storms are just a tease, they're just getting us primed for the big ones. Len Quote
ike Posted November 24, 2015 Report Posted November 24, 2015 So far this winter We in southern Ohio hasn't had any snow and that suits me fine. I don't care if we don't have any but I know it is coming. Quote
bandaideman Posted November 25, 2015 Report Posted November 25, 2015 checked the snow blower changed plug, gas oil and started 3 weeks ago. so I think I am ready but not looking forward to it. My dad just decided this year he has a guy who will plow his. He always used snow blower and shoveled but living in up state NY and bones not working so well he decided at 93 he was done with all that. at least I can rest better here in IN not thinking of heart attacks in NY.
