Oh no Hans, that's not good!  I am sorry to hear of your accident and the need for a hip repair.  Sadder still is that you will be away from your saw for an extended period of time.  I pray for excellent surgeons, hospital staff to take care of you and a quick recovery!

Hi Hans:

Wow they are quick

Good for you that they are

While you're healing, it may be a good time

to learn about designing your own patterns

Just a thought,

It's beats sitting/laying around watching soap operas

Wishing you a speedy recovery

Surely I could learn to scroll sitting down no?

As it is well stated already, I am saddened to hear your news.

May I suggest that you tell your nurse what a wonderful, dedicated and caring person she is and then ask if your saw can be brought into the room. Tell her that this will keep you calm and relaxed, instead of becoming a crabby, demanding patient.

Hope you heal quickly Friend.

Well, the fall and injury flat out sucks!!  But the speedy scheduling to get you on the road to recovery is good news.

Listen to the doctors, and will be praying for an uneventful and speedy recovery.

OOOHHH Shucks!!!!!!!!!,(or words to that effect), :D Hans. Not the greatest thing you've done in a while I'll bet. But prayers and best wishes for a good and speedy recovery are on their way from Scotland. Hope you get some nice nurses to take your mind off things. Take care Hans and get well soon.

Good luck and take it easy. I have a replacement hip and has been great. I actually wore out my first one and they went in and replaced a couple of parts.

One word of caution is to follow the doctors advice about not twisting or moving the wrong way for awhile. Trust me that not doing so can cause a very painful dislocation of the hip.
