tgiro Posted April 30, 2022 Report Posted April 30, 2022 I haven't participated in much of anything for the past year or so, as my time was spent taking care of my wife, Connie. Last week, her poor old heart gave up and she has gone to join her brothers and sisters who have preceded her. She was the last surviving member of her family of 12. They were somewhat of a raucous bunch, and we like to believe they are now raising hell in Heaven. We had a wonderful 52 years together. Thanks to the military, we visited many foreign countries and traveled extensively throughout the US. She was a beautiful and vivacious woman, whose favorite song was "Everything is Beautiful" , and she always approached new places, things and people with a wonderful and excited anticipation. After I get through all the family matters and legalese of this, I hope to get back in the shop and see if I remember how to do anything. My kids are, also, telling me to get back to Lowes to have something to keep me busy, and I'll probably do that. Hopefully, I'll be able to participate more, in the forum, once I start creating and building again. jollyred, bobscroll, Loskoppie and 11 others 3 11 Quote
