jerry walters Posted November 30, 2023 Report Posted November 30, 2023 Thanks for showing that Pete. I have seen bits and pieces of it on TV, never the whold thing. My mother suffered with Alzheimer, or shold I say we suffered. My thoughts are loved ones suffer more than the patient. Jerry MarieC, ChelCass and Scrappile 3 Quote
Bill WIlson Posted November 30, 2023 Report Posted November 30, 2023 Tough to watch. Like was said, to close to home. Chevy did something similar last year also. If the above one didn't make you cry like a baby, then watch this one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQ1uqkBeTHY Charlie E 1 Quote
Jim McDonald Posted December 1, 2023 Report Posted December 1, 2023 I pray I never have to go through this. Some in my family have dealt with it and it is devastating. Prayers for all who deal with it. Quote
MarieC Posted December 1, 2023 Report Posted December 1, 2023 Yes, thank you so much for sharing this. My father also suffered from dementia...I was with him to the end. Very touching. Quote
nrscroller Posted December 2, 2023 Report Posted December 2, 2023 That was very emotional, too bad all our commercials on tv don't have a nice message like this about something really special. I have done volunteering at a local senior apt and nursing home and have seen what dementia can do to some great people. Quote
Scrappile Posted December 2, 2023 Report Posted December 2, 2023 You would think other companies would get the hint, This commercial is being talked about all over the internet. It is getting lot of coverage the Chey is not even have to pay for. Quote
rafairchild2 Posted December 2, 2023 Report Posted December 2, 2023 (edited) Got dust in my eyes when the 8-track slid in... John Denver... Many, many memories came flooding back regarding my first "car" girlfriend, I was 16 1/2 y/o. My 72 Plymouth "Ruster"... It's funny, my first 'love', (2nd GF) I remember our first kiss in her car, I had been grounded because I missed curfew. I was 17, she was 19. I was going to give her a peck on the cheek, but she grabbed me, and the next thing I knew I had a tongue 1/2-way down my throat... man those memories. This is the type of advertising we need. Precious memories and emotions. Not this political, multi-lettered acronym stuff. I am flooded with enough of that reading the news, keep it out of what I purchase, out of my entertainment. Wichman Posted December 2, 2023 Report Posted December 2, 2023 You just have to look for the good ones. Amazon is currently running a great one about sledding, the long version is outstanding, no dialog and only a little pushing the company. Here's a good one, and there are links to more in the top pinned comment. Double dog dare you to watch twice ( it hits harder that way ) jerry walters 1 Quote
