  1. Welcome to The Village Clyde!
  2. Toothpick with some gum (or any sticky substance) may help to retrieve the brushes.
  3. The last variable speed saw I had had the control board go out. The motor seemed to test good so I got the control board and replaced it. It ran fine for a few weeks then that one went out. After some research it was recommended to replace the board and motor at the same time as a bad motor can blow the board. The saw wasn't worth putting money into and I was wanting to upgrade so I bought my Delta P-20. No circuit board to go out. That was 15 years ago.
  4. Welcome to The Village and back into scrolling.
  5. Nice work! I always like the touch of color.
  6. Unless he's a Chief's fan.
  7. Here's the link. Judy lives in Michigan so you may not be able to get them at other Dollar Tree Stores.
  8. Congratulations. I bought one for the same reason, to drill holes. Yes it works great. The drill press has limits that the plunge router overcomes.
  9. Ohio also welcomes you to The Village. Ditto with what everyone else said.
  10. Willie Nelson?
  11. Very well done! I'd also like some info on the pattern.
  12. Welcome to The Village Elvena! Get settled in and share your experience. We'll do our best to help you get started.
  13. Maybe one of our marquetry pros can put together a step-by-step tutorial of a simple project and we could all get started. Wink, wink. I'd be willing to join in.

    Navy plaque

Sweet! Did you create the pattern?
  15. Nice cutting. I can't tell where it broke off. Next time maybe try poplar if you want to use a hardwood. Poplar is easier to cut (IMO) and is less prone to breaking.
  16. Great first project. Since you used LED lights you can put printer paper or vellum paper on the inside of each panel to give it a more completed look.
  17. Interesting. But what are you trying to accomplish? Are you trying to reshape the cut or get rid of "fuzzies"? If you are trying to get rid of fuzzies the quickest way for me is to use a torch and burn them off. Once you get use to it you can burn them quickly without burning your work.
  18. They are all great but I really love the painted cabin scene.
  19. Wolcome to The Village Tim.

It looks like Ondine D. Here are some results (if the link works). https://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/result Well, the link didn't work but you can upload the image.
