  1. Great! I think I ordered from Mike and received blades before I finished ordering. Lol
  2. They look great!
  3. Welcome to The Village Paul! You have chosen a great saw to get you going. Please visit often and share some pictures of you work. Where in Alaska are you?

    Hi!

    Welcome to The Village!
  6. Where in Indiana? There's a lumber yard in Cincinnati that carries a great assortment of hardwoods, softwood, and exotics for reasonable prices.
  7. Hmm, my Delta has the two legs in the front and my knees don't hit them. Not sure about the Hegner.
  8. Nice touch!
  9. Nice job Ralph! Your camera seems to be focused on the object in the background. Make sure the metering is not set to spot.
  10. Welcome to The Village David!
  11. Wonderful scenery! To me the lone bird soaring above is icing on the cake.
  12. Like most folks, I never had an issue with reverse toothed blades. No kickback to note.
  13. Luis, you probably mentioned this on your previous post but what wood did you use? Do you have a pattern?
  14. How thick is the wood? If you cut 3/4" I bow to you for using puzzle blades.
  15. Lew, I'll race you. If it were a little loser it would be worth the trip. I wish the wife liked beaches then we both could get something out of it.
  16. Awesome work! I've seen a lot of portraits with a lot of details in the face and it didn't look well. You sir, have the perfect amount of detail. Well done!
  17. Awesome! And a good gesture by Keith.
  18. Awesome job! Hope you feel better.
  19. Thanks for posting this Paul. I use a sanding mop on my puzzles. I've always used it on the drill press. Been thinking g of switching to the lathe for some time. After reading your post I put it on the lathe. For some reason it seems easier to hold the pieces and the lighting is much better.
  20. Excellent work and a wonderful statement.
  21. Customer service like that will go a long way. Kudos well deserved.
  22. Looks like poplar to me.
  23. FDUR blades are 30 cents per dozen cheaper from Hawk than from Wooden Teddy Bear and Mike's site. http://stores.bushtonhawkstore.com/blades-and-bits/?sort=featured&page=2 https://mikesworkshop.com/collections/blades http://www.woodenteddybearonline.com/x/home.php?cat=550&sort=orderby&sort_direction=0&page=3
