  1. I agree. The library is well organized and there seems to be something for all occasions.
  2. Glad to see you made it to the shop. Great job on both pieces.
  3. Fantastic! I love the action in it.
  4. Looks great Frank! Spiral blades have their place but for the finer details, nothing better than flat blades.
  5. Fantastic work Kevin. I love how the crosses came out.

Excllant! I love the pattern, you did a fantastic job on the cutting, and the wood is exceptional.
  7. It came out fantastic!
  8. I agree too. I did try gluing some cherry that was oiled and the wood glue didn't hold (duh). I later used gorilla glue and it seemed to hold well enough. But, I would make that a practice.
  9. Welcome to the village Norm!
  10. Hi Rob. On my Delta P-20 it takes about the same, 10 to 12 seconds. I've never timed myself figuring it's got to be done no matter how fast I do it.
  11. Excellent!
  12. Great job for a great cause! Your selection of wood makes them look so real.
  13. Great job Kevin! Do you make scroll portraits of all your cars?
  14. Here's a recipe I found. I don't know if it really works but the photo looks impressive. Recipe #1 for making faux barnwood... Add 1 steel wool pad (0000 works well) for every 32 OZ of vinegar. Let sit overnight Strain the vinegar into a new container, removing as much steel wool particles as possible Add water - 1:1 ratio Apply to wood using whatever method you prefer You can see the photo here http://www.houzz.com/ideabooks/10253219/list/Cabin--Barnwood--aging-cedar-to-become--faux--barnwood
  15. Welcome from Ohio.
  16. Looks awesome! Love the colors.
  17. Excellent Kevin. How think is the wood? Ilike the idea of a two-sided bill.
  18. Great job. It looks very delicate. Is that cedar?
  19. Bill, sometimes I put a small dot on each cutout area then go back with an awl to make a small indentation. It seems like a lot of work, but you don't have to do it for evey hole, just the important ones. Another thought is that the pattern is just a guide so if the hole is off a bit, no big deal, no one else will ever know.

Great idea. She will love it.
  21. Wow, that is awesome...and big. Is that your own design?
  22. Excellent job. You did a great job with the shadowing around her face.
  23. Hey Dan, Dremel makes a plunge router attachment. You could probably use it to drill holes. It should be pretty stable. I'm willing to bet someone here uses one.
  24. Excellent!
