  1. On page 19 of that manual is a list of authorized service stations for the delta saws. You should be able to get the blade clamps and the top screw for that saw thru one of them. If you can't get the delta parts the Hegner blade clamps might just fit on there but they don't have the wings to hold them on center as pictured in the manual. Other than that they look very similar
  2. I think you have bit by the box bug.
  3. Very nice. I like the tower. That one is more my speed. I just don't have time for 2000 holes. Thanks for sharing
  4. OH BOY HERE WE GO!! Lol We all love the scroll saw we have and are all biased to them. I have a Hegner that I have fell in love with. Now there are many top of the line saws out there that if you have the $$$$$ are wonderful saws but there are some good beginner saws that will serve the purpose also. I am sure you are going to get a lot of response to your question but if it were me I would do a search of the forum for scroll saws and do plenty of research. Good luck and happy cutting. OH I ALMOST FORGOT WELCOME TO THE VILLAGE
  5. Only 6???????? I have at least that many prepped at all times ready to cut. Not to mention another dozen in my to do NEXT pile and notebooks full of to do patterns. Then there are all the patterns I have saved to a file in my computer. Now if I could just figure out how to spend some major time in front of my scroll saw.
  6. WOW for that many stars he better have a very big pile of wood.
  7. Welcome to the village John! I was up in your area about a year ago. My fiancé is from the Valparaiso area and she took me up into Michigan to look at a CNC Router and see all the wonderful orchards. It is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL AREA!!!!! As so many have said don’t be afraid to ask questions and PLEASE post pictures of your machine and the work that comes off of it. We LOVE to see other peoples work and remember the only person that knows you made a mistake is YOU. Everyone else just thinks that was the way it was supposed to be and will think it is beautiful.
  8. I figured it was probably the Land Lady hitting him over the head for not working on her stuff.
  9. It looks like Raphael to me. Well done! I remember when my kids were crazy about those guys (And Dad might have sit and watched with them. Lol)
  10. That is really beautiful! I love the live edge look and the mix of scroll work and wood burning really makes this picture a work of art. Thanks for sharing.
  11. Love them both!!!!! My first car was a 67 Roadrunner so the muscle cars are my favorite. Great job!!!!
  12. Very nice! I spent the weekend working on my sons wedding box so I have one question. What are the dimensions of the slot for the cards to go thru? I absolutely love the plaque you cut for this. Wonderful job.
  13. WOW!!!!! That is a LOT of holes. It looks GREAT! What are the dimensions?
  14. Don't forget we LOVE PICTURES!!!! Of your work or your kids work. It is GREAT to see the young people learning to do this kind of projects.
  15. Sorry I couldn't give you credit right away DW. I really liked your pattern and had fun cutting and finishing this bowl. It was the first time I had ever tilted the table on my scroll saw but it won't be the last. It takes a little practice getting used to it but was really fun. I am always up for a new challenge. Next on my list is inlay, I have the saw set up and the test cuts done. Now I need to get the box for my son’s wedding prepared for the inlay. Any way THANKS for a GREAT PATTERN DW
  16. I thought I found the pattern for this bowl on this forum but I’ll be darned if I can find it again to give the pattern maker credit for it. I cut it quite a while ago and glued it together but the other night I finished sanding it then finished it in the next two nights and here it is. My first attempt at a bowl so I was happy with the way it turned out. The side walls are a little thin by the handles thou.
  17. I was sanding some lace wood and some walnut with my 320 grit sanding mop for a project Sunday and must have got some of the fine dust in my eyes. Right now they look like two blue puddles in a sea of red even thou I was wearing my safety glasses. I will be purchasing a face shield to wear while I finish sand from now on.
  18. I am looking for Lace wood but am not having any luck finding the toxicity of it. Can any one help??
  19. That pen of four would do great at the county fair or sorted off and shipped to their rightful owners. Great job on those DW!
  20. One word of caution, Scroll Sawing is addicting!!!!! You start out thinking I will just do a few little projects and before you know it you have boxes and boxes of projects you have done. Just ask Amazing Kevin about that one. WELCOME to the village and I hope to see plenty of your projects posted in the bragging rights. Don’t worry about following the pattern perfectly. Just let the work flow and have fun with it.
  21. You have that right Bill! I have been practicing for about 20 years and some day I hope to be average at it. Welcome to the village and we hope to see you around. OH I ALMOST FORGOT!!!!! W LOVE to see pictures. Pictures of your shop. your scroll saw projects, and any other projects you may do!!!!!
  22. I Love those rustic barn wood frames! I have made a few of them years ago out of an old granary I had torn down. Very nice pattern and great cutting, I would hang it in my house any day.
  23. Wish you lived next door. I would love to tune up that saw and see how well it would actually work. I bet with a good tune up you would be surprised just what you could do with that beauty.
  24. I agree with Rover2 and Rob Roy. I could keep my Rum and Whiskey in there. Oh okay my fiancé could keep a bottle of wine in there also if she insisted.
  25. Hold on a minute there!!!! Any one that has more than one Lady is CRAZY in my book. It is hard enough to keep one woman happy.
