  1. These two are my favorites. Hubby was a Marine and in Vietnam and has PTSD. He is just now starting to accept the fact that he doesn't need to feel guilty about being in Vietnam. It's been a long road but he is getting there.
  2. Hubby bought these for me for Christmas, I have already marked which patterns I want to cut. lol
  3. Welcome to the village from a fellow Michigander. Check out the pattern library for some great patterns. Lots of friendly helpful people here who are always willing to lend a helping hand. As for a decent saw you can keep an eye on your local auctions (live and online), just had a Pegas saw at a auction last week. Have also seen several Delta and Dewalt's. Also keep an eye on the big box stores and Amazon for their sales.
  4. I checked Sears Parts Direct, they show it in stock for $78.45. They do have a Chat section where you can talk to someone so maybe???????
  5. I checked ereplacement parts and they show the part as discontinued. EBay or Esty may be a possibility. Maybe track down a scrollsaw for replacement parts. I do see order Craftsman at my online auctions from time to time.
  6. Thank you Travis, it has been a lovely day. Hope you and yours are having a wonderful Christmas.
  7. Beautiful.
  8. Very nice, I bet they were a hit.
  9. I love Gnomes, he's super cute.
  10. Beautiful Ken, I hope the receiver appreciated all the work put into the ornament. We have had a ornament or two exchange here but people really weren't interested. We had exchanges at another group and instead of a wood ornament I sent him a stained glass angel I made for him along with a stand for her to sit on. Well the wife snagged the angel and poor hubby got the stand................................LOL
  11. The last of the Reindeer ornaments are cut and almost ready to be hung. Waiting for the sealer to dry on these. Again Thanks to Fab4 for the patterns, much appreciated.
  12. Stunning! No doubt they will love it. Great job.
  13. Three more cut, just need to stain. I will do that after I get the last two cut and then stain all together.
  14. Arpop was a member of the same group I belonged to that had to close down because people wouldn't stop posting copy written patterns. I believe Arpop has since retired from making patterns. You can find most of his pattern on Pinterest or by googling Arpop. Like Kevin, I do ornaments year round. I make some for each holiday with Halloween and Christmas as my favorites. I will take simple patterns I like and convert them into ornaments or refrigerator magnets.
  15. Welcome back Brenda, hope each day gets a little bit better and things smooth out for you. Your cutting is beautiful.
  16. They are very fragile. If I make another set I will use thicker wood.
  17. Got three more finished now just 5 more to do. Thanks Fab4 for the patterns.
  18. Very very nice. Thanks for sharing.
  19. 2022 Christmas tree with ornaments made that year. Several are hanging on the window screen. The snowmen are made from Jenga blocks but could be easily made with a scrollsaw. The penguin and Snowman are burnt out light bulbs.
  20. oh Boy! I was hoping you would do a Christmas Ornament challenge. These are just the ones I have done for this year. Every year I make a new batch of Christmas Ornaments.
  21. No accessories came with mine. I already have a oscillating sander that I gave to my husband as I never used it and it took up too much counter space in my small shop.
  22. I had to think about this for a while. One thing I am thankful for is our Chickens. They keep up supplied with plenty of fresh eggs. No more having to buy over priced eggs or running to the store because we were out of eggs. So I cut a ornament to hang on the Christmas tree in honor of them.
  23. Check Sue Mey's site, she has a large selection of ornament holders.
  24. Of all the sanders I have and there are several the pictured one is my go to. Its powerful, take up little space and does a great job sanding. I found it on Amazon and it was very inexpensive.
  25. Great cutting. Russ Beard's patterns are awesome but oh so challenging. You did a great job cutting it.
