  1. Oh wow that is beautiful & so realistic well done.
  2. Kerrie I purchased my first saw from the Carbatec stand at the Sydney working with wood show & the second via a phone call straight to Carbatec Phone No 1800658111 . E -Mail [email protected] I buy my blades from Helen Harris from Murray Bridge E-Mail [email protected] or Phone at 0885313440. She has a leaflet with all the blades you will ever need & delivers fast & efficient service.
  3. Hi Kerrie I am Peter from N.S.W I am afraid I know next to nothing about the Jet .The saw I started out with was a carbatec 18" variable speed but this may be above your budget as they are in the $750 dollar range. I used this saw for a couple of years & was very happy with it,I have since upgraded to the EX 21. Of course the dearer machines are a lot better & worth the extra you spend on them. It just depends on how & what you are going to use it for. Cheers Peter.
  4. I sold my plaque of the Holden car to a customer who asked me to also make him a plaque of a Harley so here is the result ,it is A4 size & cut with No3 skip tooth reverse blades which gave a cleaner cut than if I had used spiral blades,Hope he likes it .Also thanks to Grampa for the pattern.Cheers Peter ( Sorry posted in wrong section)

  14. This is a pattern by Thomas Mullane Jr. I made this one for my son who calls his property "Eagles Nest" .The actual cutting is made from marine ply with a fruitwood stain, which I applied with an air brush to reach all the fine bits. The frame is made from pallets to give it a rustic look .the final finish is satin spray varnish ,Quite pleased with this one.

  16. I had a burnt out Ryobi pedestal bench drill witch I removed the laser & battery box with switch from & mounted the laser on a piece of wood & stuck it to the top arm with some double sided tape & the same on the other side with the battery box.Hope this makes sense .cheers Peter
  17. I mounted an adjustable laser on the top arm of my EX21 once it is adjusted for the wood thickness all you do is line it up with the drill hole in the pattern, works a treat for me.

Had an order for these ,they are children"s names to go on their bedroom doors .The parents are picking some quite unusual names for their kids these days.I made these with 20mm thick lettering & 4mm backing & I painted the lettering with an air brush, I charged $20 each for them.Hope you like.Cheers Peter

  24. I made this tray to go under my saw it collects all the sawdust & stops it falling into my lap.You could cut a hole in a corner to sweep the dust down but I found I can sweep it out using a small dust pan & brush. Cheers Peter
