    This is the picture of the dog I made for a friend moving to Washington state. The dog died 2 dsays before they were going to leave.I designed it useing steve goods printing program ( free on his website) and resized it to fit the dog. No I won't design for other people . any body can do it just try.If you can't find dthe fonzs you need try microsoft Words there is plenty there. > Uploaded Images

    i ALWAYS CLALMP THE TOP FIRST THEN THE BOTTOM THEN RELEASE THE TOP AND RE CLAMP ITMAKING SURE THE BOTTOM IS UP IN THE TOP DIRECTION NHTN RE CLAMP. i ALSO HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THE BLADE BEING SET IN UPSIDE DOWN SO i HAVE NINES ON A 1/4 PLY AND CUT DOWN THE LINE AND SEE WHICH WAY THE PLY IS GOING TO CHECK THE RIGHT DIRECTION THE TEATH ARE POINTING IT'S BAD TO HAVE THE BLADE IN UPSIDE DOWN ON A PRECISION CUT. ike

    Just hjad the first of the holiday sales. It wasn't bad not a big croudb ut I did ok.. sold 16 puzzles, one nativity scenes . not much else but I cleared $200 over the cost. Not a bad day at all. My next sale is om 3 weeks. hope today was a good sign. IKE

    I have no complaints with my DW 788 just the repair service Ane dewalt took care of that for me. the next saw up would be $8090 to $1000 thats not in my buidget. IKE

    It is no impossible to hurt your self it is very unlikely. I have been sawing for well over 30 years and never hurt myself, I use no guards at all except for a mask and never cut my finger. i have put a little notch in my finger nail but that;s it. TKE

    I have a Dw788 type 2. I have had it for about 3 or 4 years ( not sure which) and have put $80 in repairs.9 it should hae been $340 but due to the poor service of the repair station theot ut a new motor on it free.I useally put 800 to 1000 hours per year.So i am satified with it, and it's all my Budget will allow. IKE

    I had a problem with my saw last year The Motor went bad on it and they had it for 6 weeks untill I caled Dewalt and they got it out to me in 4 days. They sent there rep down to find out what was the problem with the service station. I got it fixed for nothing. I got a new motor and the bearings paacked. It has ran great ever since I now have about 200 hours on it. No problems so far. IKE

    Couldn't you just shrink te puzzles and make it that way, or would that be against his copyrights . I have never seen his restrictions on his patterns.?

    You could use a #5 or #7. i would go with an Olson's match blades. IKE

    I have never had any problems wirh olson blades. I order them by the Gross from thwooden teddy bear and never had any problems I haven't ordered any for the past 2 months. IKE

    Tools tools tools every body needs tools. Drill Press I have a craftmans $ 150. An awl to inlarge the staarting hole $ 5, sander I love my Mouse. $ 40, You can get these on cregslist for a lot cheeper That is the 3 basic tools yu will need. Blsdes They sell a virity pack of sizes Some buy these and then decide what size you need but I use Olson's baldes in the 2 main sizes #5 & #7 Mostly #5 m R ( 7 reversed teeth at the bottom to clear away the chips. That would be a good start. There is other tools that you will get at a later date. IKE

    I buy my lumber from Paxton lumber they only are avable in 3 states popular is priced to a study customer $2.10 there regular price is $2.60 Which is about 1/2 the price at Lowes or H.D. dthey also have cherry at $3.6 per board ft, it is all keln dried onde in a while it has to be re pllained. 3/4 lumber is actually .800.Best prices that I can find.     I use the spray glue you can buy at Michaels with a 40% off coupond spray it on the pattern wait about 1/2 minute and stick it on the wood and when I am done I use mineral spirits to remove it very seldome have any problems and the projecct is dry the next day with no smell dthen fini;sh it with what ever I wish to use on this project. The only problem i have had was wityh elmers spray glue, It just don't hold the pattern on the wood very well. IKE
