The beauty of your clock is something to just sit and stare at. I am starting to understand the difference between mediocre, good, marvelous and a truly talented scroller. It is not just how well a piece is cut..(that is 'good') assembling the cutting, assembly and finishing is about as good as it can be. .to move it up a notch is to also have a good sense of wood choices,on top to the 'good' category, then one moves to 'marvelous'.. In order to achieve 'marvelous' to 'truly talented' one needs to pick the material that makes the piece extra special and achieve a perfect cut, assembly and finish job and then make special efforts to ring out even more than a perfect job, as you did with this clock when you thought to place the woods to achieve the amazing effects on the floor and ceilings of this clock.. So to some it all up, you are a 'Truly Talented' person.. One of the nicest pieces I have ever seen.
