Frame instructions.

Well Dave, as usual you again turned out a piece with quality that I will never be able to come close to matching. I love everything you make, as it is always top notch. I forgot to post the photo. I think your connection with phone and computer and mine is the same thing. Thanks I will try to see if I can figure out how to unpair and remove my phone from the computer and get my phone to re-connect to my computer.. Not sure how to do that but I think you nailed my problem. Sure wish I had a 10 year old living by me to show me how to do that. Dick heppnerguy

I finally got this downloaded so I could post it. This pattern came from the pattern library here and the maker of the pattern in "Shady Lady". I showed it to my wife and she wanted me to cut it for one of our grandkids, so here it is. This is the second one of this frame I have made and I think by the next one, I should get it right, I hope. I cut this on 1/4 in BB Birch ply and made the frame from aspen and purple heart. I enjoyed cutting it and this one I am happy enough at the finished results. Dick heppnerguy

that is what i try to do and for some reason they just do not get to my computer. I used to do that all the time but now it does not happened. I am a little stumped by it. I guess I have to get a grandchild to show what I am doing wrong. Dick heppnerguy

great job. I would think that scrollers would be the ones that enjoy putting puzzles together because of the time it takes to cut fret work and we who love fret cutting understand the time and effort they often take. They are kind of a puzzle in themselves. I have some photos I want to make into puzzles so I guess it is time for me to get on some of those too. Keep up the good work. Dick heppnerguy

I am having a really difficult time getting my photos from my phone to my computer. I had my son try today and he only got one of them to me. I think he got a little confused and I am not sure if I posted this one before or not but I am going to try and get him to try an send me the other piece of work I was trying to post for the past week. This one is on I got on this pattern library, I believe, but not completely sure of that. Anyway, this was the first attempt at trying to make this particular frame. It is along way from prefect but I will get onto making them if I keep trying, you know....practice...practice....practice. OOPS..Am I getting too old for my own good. I forgot to post the picture.. Thanks to all that responded. I guess we all use about the same technique.. I was hoping to find something a little different. I have seen some new ideas here and I will give them a try also. I have lots of cardboard ready to continue using if that is what I find works best for me. I really do not think I have a good place outside to use but maybe I could figure something out. As most of you know, have been scrolling for a long time and right now I just changed all my shop and added three more tables to it. As I was putting it all together, it struck me that I have a couple of problems that have been bothering me since the beginning of my scrolling experience. 1. They are...when i spray glue the back of my patterns I use a piece of cardboard laid on a workbench, and spray my glue onto the pattern back. The problem is I end up with some spay on part of my tools and occasionally have gotten glue on my bench which attracts saw dust and eventually becomes a mess for me. 2. Painting my backer boards or doing the spray finish I use a cut open cardboard box which helps to keep the paint and finish from getting on other things but it also shades my light and makes it difficult to see exactly what is going on in the box. I am open to any helpful suggestions you might be able to pass on to me so that I can resolve these issues and enjoy my new shop in a cleaner and better way to do these 2 item. I checked through everything I could find on their site and could not fine the Mt Rushmore pattern. Is it from one of their magazines? I have all of them from a way back and if so, can you give me the issue number or date ? I could locate it from there. Dick heppnerguy
