  1. Glad to see you are now coping with whatever it was that was ailing you. Many thanks for your story and a Merry Christmas to you and yours. Don W
  2. You seem to have the cutting right, 'slow and steady' will see you through the hardest of woods. (and a sharp blade)
  3. A well deserved result I think. You did very well setting this up. Congratulations. take care and stay safe
  4. +1 for what RAY said.
  5. Thanks, it is a bit bigger than I thought. It is beautiful.
  6. It looks well done but the board it is sitting on detracts from the piece (IMHO). What size is it ?
  7. Looks good Brenda and I like the chocolates idea. Well done.
  8. Excellent start to your scroll saw journey. The bells are very well done and will adorn any Christmas tree. The apple wood circles would work as trivets. Looks a great start to your scroll sawing career. You should be very proud. Don W

  19. Beautiful piece. Well done.
  20. Thank you all for your kind comments. Don W
  21. Just finished another great pattern from Steve Good, Flying Eagle. 3/4" thick White Oak finished with Danish Oil.
  22. Could you scale it -50% ?? Maybe a bit finicky then ?
  23. Hi I'm Don, me too. Sometimes I manage to take a picture crop and post it here, sometimes the piece has disappeared before I get the camera out, depends which child/grandchild is visiting at the time.
  24. Great result and many congratulations on your future success. I wish there were places like this in Scotland. My local gallery will stock/sell my work but I refuse to work with them, as an example, if I want a fair £20 for a piece then the gallery charges twice that meaning they get the same money as me just for selling it ???
