    @timelett, you are correct, I think. I had little time scrolling in the summer, but now I have more time. and I have done more lately than I did this year. So it made me late for this Christmas. I am starting now for next Christmas. Hope I do not forget where I put things for sending next Christmas. I just ordered wood. I want to make this my next Christmas Christmas card to my immediate family. Signed on the back by my wife and me. Have 10 to do. We have not sent Christmas cards in a long time, so this is to make up.

    I came to this site this afternoon, and wow. There were many questions asked and many, many great, helpful responses. I read them all, and as an old scroller, I learned, and I also hope I was able to contribute. That is really what this forum is about. Bragging rights are to let us get validation, encouragement, and constructive criticism. Questions or general scrolling is where we learn. Just had to say it, hope it keeps going. Thanks, @Travis, for hosting such a great forum. Please do not ever sell us out to some great corporation that will ruin it. AND HAPPY NEW YEAR TO MY SCROLL SAW VILLAGE NEIGHBORS. SO GLAD TO LIVE BY YOU ALL. Sorry if I sound emotional, but I just got off a long phone conversation with one of my neighbors, @heppnerguy. I have others that stay in touch with phone calls. It is so great. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL MY SCROLLSAW NEIGHBORS.

    I have a few tools I feel that way about. Nothing wrong with it. My Hegner and my Steel City table saw are two that I really hope someone in the family takes and gets as much joy from them as I have gotten. My son says he is going to have most packed up and shipped to him. That will probably cost more than they would bring if he tried to sell them, but he says he wants them. My daughter will probably take one of the scroll saws. I really hope so.

    Welcome to the forum. I cannot help on a Delta scrollsaw. I have never owned one. But I am sure you will eventually find what you need. When I need parts, I always run to "EReplacement Parts first. Maybe they don't have the parts, but they usually have great parts diagrams. They do have some parts for that saw, but most listed are discontinued or obsolete. So Ebay and like places are most likely.

    Use a blade like a pegas modified geometry. Never one with reverse teeth. You want a blade that will clear out as much saw dust as possible as it saws, go slow, do not force the cut.

    Yes the quick clamp can be used on all sizes. It is to replace the top clamp. You do not use a tool to clamp the blade. The regular clamps should not be held tightly, but "float in the clamp holder". The quick clamp should be held tight in the the top clamp holder.     I don't really keep track, but my guess would be around 15 hours. Maybe a little more took three hours for me to cut the parameter. Felt like it went on forever!

    This is one of Charles Hand's patterns. I'm not sure how I want to finish it yet, but if someone wants to practice their cutting of inside and outside curves, this is a real good one to try. None of the cuts are real difficult, but there are a lot of them. If I were teaching a scroll saw class, I would show the basics, then tell the students to get one of these patterns to practice with.

    I have one but rarely use it. If you buy one spend the money and buy an electric one. Mine I have to heat up with a torch, and I never seem to get a good even heat. And it takes too long. My solution was Steve's wood tokens. I hope he is not going to quit making them.

    Looks good. I need a course on how to cut glass. I have not had much success trying.
