  1. Welcome! Glad you joined us. I also love making the 3D stuff. No matter how many I cut, I still am amazed when you find the treasure inside. Here is one you might enjoy trying. I have made several of these of different sizes. Cutting the wild hair is a real treat. The pattern for these Nut Cracker is a JEPlans.com.
  2. I came across this the other day when cleaning. This is what I used for a long time. Made for my DeWalt saw but still used it on the following Excalibur and Sako. The last two did not need it, but I liked the feeling of extra security that the arm was not going to come down. No, I will not sell it, nor do I have a pattern!
  3. I like it. I am going to try my had at some toys soon. A friend of my wife's has a little boy just the right age to enjoy them.
  4. Well done, Frank!
  5. Welcome to the forum. I look forward to seeing you work. I find making things for kids makes the hobby even better.
  6. Based on this Ray mentioned it some time ago, I did the same. It is easy and well worth the effort.
  7. Mighty fine. You really did a great job.
  8. Welcome to the forum. A few years ago, I was going to do something similar. I found out that the parents did not always receive it well. I understand a stranger giving something to their children. Kinda sad, but I quit. Maybe someday I will try again. If you do it, speak to the parent first and show/tell them what you are sharing. I cut these little teddy bears and filled the hear with red epoxy. I thought they were cute.i
  9. Have you looked here? I have the setup pictured on this page, They may have one for your delta. https://wynnenv.com/woodworking-filters/
  10. Too beautiful to have to look at it sideways. Great piece.
  11. Saw a picture of this sign on the internet several days ago. I modified it to fit my Nephew's Garage. He and his day drag race and build drag cars for some other people. I just thought it would fit he garage well.
  12. Beautiful piece. The coloring is great!
  13. Good I always like to read of a success I know they must be a lot of work, Good to know it can pay off.
  14. Glad you got it worked. I disagree with the Awful learning experience, comment the fact that you learned, you fixed and it will probably never happen again, because know how prevent it in the future, I would say it was a great learning experience. I bet even further the fact that you posted it here you taught a whole lot of Pegas clamp owners (that just jumped up a gabbed their lube and went at it) how to prevent it also.
  15. Awesome! Great job cutting a difficult pattern and great job coloring it.
  16. Well done. They are always popular.
  17. well done. I like the rings done that wayl
  18. Just my experience, not with your saw, but if things are slipping with the tension lever, the nylon tension lever may need replacing, they can wear out.
  19. Welcome to the Village!
  20. That is a great one. How does one check out his scroll saw patterns? I can not find them
  21. Great job!
  22. @OCtoolguy, you flagged my last comment as sad... I am not sad. I am not ready to go just yet. But I have had a chance to live during a great time, and I have no regrets other than my Grandchildren did not live closer. But they have always been in touch and included me in their lives, so I am very grateful. A week ago I got to go to a party for my oldest Grandchild, my Granddaugter's engagement to a very fine man. I now have hope for great-grandchildren. If they are not too slow on the draw if you know what I mean. This thread is about light, so I will end by saying there is a ray of light for great-grandchildren.
  23. Welcome, and yes, I went out this morning, and it was just above freezing. The good side is more time to scroll; the bad side is I don't really like cold anymore. But welcome. glad you are joining us.
  24. The one I have with LED is too bright for me. An the bulb I want to replace is 20 years old. I do not have another 20 years of scrolling or probably living for that matter.
  25. I get an error on all of them
