  1. I am having a problem with starting projects but not getting them finished. Has something to do with my age. But I did finish this one after I had started three other things.
  2. I do know, Mr. Charlie E., you are the master of these portraits. Even if I don't know the character you are showing, I don't get out much, the portraits are always spot on. I never tire of seeing them... Even I know some the his songs, although if I heard them I could not tell you who it was singing them. I have always been pretty much of a "square".
  3. Sorry, I got so excited seeing a silhouette of a pinscher, I forgot to say you did a great job on it!
  4. Nice!
  5. both very well done!
  6. I have owned three full sized in my life. Best breed I ever owned. Loyal, brave and very protective. Love the breed, would have another if I weren't so darn old!
  7. Very nice work. I do not understand the math though...
  8. Great cutting!
  9. I agree with all comment above, that is beautiful wood. Sorta reminds me of beech, which I love to work with. This wood you used looks like you could glue up a panel and not see a seam. I really cannot get my head around how you do you beautiful pieces.
  10. Really a nice job!
  11. Going to be a beauty!
  12. You always do such a great job on the patterns and cutting. Always look forward to you posts. Love the commentary you give on each plane. Great picture.
  13. great job!
  14. That is a great stool. You did a fine job on it. Maybe you could fine some little flip flops to tack onto it.
  15. Very nice job. Inlay is fun and rewarding. Did you say in another post, what the emblem is and I missed it?
  16. Great scrolling, Dick. You are really stepping things up a notch with the colors. Very beautiful.
  17. Don't get much scrolling time anymore, but I did squeeze in one over a 5 week period. This is a pattern by Jacob and Wayne Fowler. Book titled "Woodworker's Pattern Book, 78 Realistic Fretwork Animals" The pattern is made to be done with one piece of wood, but I figured out how to at least make the head with White Aspen. the body and stand are Black Walnut. I/2" thick.
  18. the lift works I had a Jim Dandy, But I had gotten so use to using a block of wood I still found myself putting it in place to just make sure.
  19. I hear you. A couple hours sitting at the scroll saw and my old back will not straighten up until I move around for an hour or so loosening things up! But you got it done and a nice job.
  20. Great job on some very fragile cutting..
  21. Great to have you move into the village.
  22. great Job!
