    Great picturer, Dick. I finally had to have our old cat put down last Monday. I got to the point he quite eating. It was time. He was a good one. And our last one.

    I purchased books 15, 16 and 17 many years ago, from the woodyoubelieve shop and they were "Ebooks". That came in ZIP files.

    Good cutting , Dick. Sad, anymore when I go to the shop, I feel guilty. I feel I should be outside working or inside clean house. But I still get some time in the shop once an a while.

    I have not viewed that particular one, I have in the past purchased a couple of their books. That was several years ago. They seemed pretty confusing to me, a zip file when unzipped had plans that were several pages and some what confusing then there was a folder of pictures of the items. Some were in German some in english. I made a couple. Not too bad, but it took me some thinking. Maybe they are better now. I am a big fan of the Schwibbogens, like to make them. A little hard to store from year to year.

    If there is, I have not found it, I think the clue is to encourage pattern designers to add tag words to their saved patterns, such as their name, or something related to the subject. But I have not been able to search and find a pattern unless they do.

    Well I gotta say, I cannot debate whether you can cut stone with a scroll saw blade, I suspect that with a diamond blade you could but it would be painful. I know you can turn soft stones. Here are examples of soap stone I turned. It was not difficult, but it was slow. The resulting "rock dust" was a real fine powder like talc.     I've turned stone on a wood lathe, was not difficult. But it was Soap Stone which is very soft, for a stone. I have a couple chunks of alabaster I was going to try to turn also, but have never gotten to it. It can be I have see some of the results.

    Are there any electronic stores anymore, since Radio Shack went out of business? Guess on have to relay on online.

    Glad this got brought to the front again. I saved the first post to a text document for future. I am not an electronics expert but I would dry this repair before I laid out the money to for a new controller. And @OCtoolguy, I remember your input from way back when about the soft start on the Hegner. Just curious, where you using a foot peddle at the time or were you using the on/off switch on the saw? I would be curious it the foot pedal could have had something to do with it.

    WOW! Dick, that is one of the greatest! I have been wanting for a long time to do something like that. Great job! Love the blue on the backer, because if you spend much time in Montana, you know what is meant by "Big Sky". My Daughter lived there for a few years and we loved every visit to there. Great job!
