  1. Yes sir, we are neighbors! We must get together sometime and get acquainted personally. When @MarieC visits, it would be a crime if we did not have a meet up. Maybe it can be arranged do @scrollingforsanity could come he is only around 40 miles away. It is great to meet up with other members, them we can talk about other members behind their backs.
  2. I have always liked that pattern. You did it well. Get the surgery as soon as possible. Painless and will change your life.
  3. I only know 4 that are active site forums that specialize in scroll sawing. Here, the most active, Scroller Cafe, Steve Good (least active) and SSW&C. I use to visit them all, now this is my home. Once in a while I visit Scroller Cafe, they are nice people, alot of them are from here also.
  4. Great work. I love the box thing. Might be good for my wife in her sewing room.
  5. I used my new rotary tool, the spindle sander and my belt sander, a flat board with sandpaper attached, a stick with sand paper attached, sanding mop, sanding mac, drum sander from JGR. Sand, sand, sand.
  6. They alway bring on a smile. Very cute.
  7. Nice job.. Lucky birds that get that condo.
  8. This is my first intarsia, my second and my third. By that I mean every piece was cut at least twice, some three times and some I just said good enough. Lots of errors, but I enjoyed the trip. Well be doing more in the future, time allowing. Made this for my Granddaughter, a nurse at Providence Hospital in Portland, Ore. She is doing very well for herself. Less than a year there and they have already asked her to be a Charge Nurse. Not real sure what that means but sounds good. Needless to say, Grandpa is very proud of her. The snakes and feathers are Canary wood, the upright, inlay and backer boarder is Black Walnut and the light brown is Monkey Pod. The white pieces are casein, which is a product made from milk protien. It is beautiful makes great pens. I put a picture here so you can see what it look like.
  9. Most post their pictures in "Bragging Rights" forum. Just go to Bragging rights, Select forums under. "community", scroll down to bragging rights. Click on "Start new topic" and go from there.

  14. You should have looked sooner, I think one got removed... Not sure why, they want to have worse stuff in grade school libraries now. but it is some very nice scrolling and that is all I care about, care about...care about. I have looked at the pictures five time now and see no flaws..
  15. Kevin buys in bulk to resale them. His prices are cheaper than other places I looked, and he service it first class. And I am saying all this nice stuff so when he gets rich he may remember me. No really, he is great to do business with and the prices are right!
