    Are you talking about the clear plastic piece? On my Seyco and Excalibur I remove that and pointed a piece of PVC pipe on my dust collection to the opening. very little dust got past it. I also since I have left over cigar boxes from my cigar box guitar days, affix a cigar box under the table to collect any dust that gets by the DC. It also collect broken/warn out blades small scraps I toss in there as I scroll.

    There is another video of this showing more on building the tiny parts. It is rather lengthy, I didn't sit through it all but it makes this even more amazing. Those working pistons are tiny and as are the gears. The young mans voice sounds just like the voice of the guy that has the woodgears.ca site. wonder if their brains are related.

    I really noticed all that but didn't want to say anything to embarrass you This what they mean about don't point out your mistakes, not many notice. I would install the tail using a short piece of dowel to glue it on. The head, I cannot imagine anyone notice it.

    My wife would encourage it, let her know I still have some life in me. Told her the other day I never thought I would be married to a 76 year old woman, I think it was time to get a girlfriend,,, she said "good luck with that"!

    Think about it, what direction do the saw teeth point.. Easier to feed the blade up through a hole than down through. Down through you blade is trying to cut as it is pushed through the hole. I have never stood on my head to bottom feed. I raise the piece of wood, start the blade through the hole and then hold the blade at the top of the blade as lower the wood back to the table. Even when I had saws you could top feed from(Excalibur/Seyco) I found it easier to bottom feed. You raise the board at an angle up off the table. But I do not understand why you worry it, you have an Excalibur, top feed, if that works for you that is they way you should sail your boat, so something like that.

    Don't forget hay stacks, they can do it also. I also do the paper towel and hang them on the edge or the can until dry.

    Check out a place like Ocooch. to see their sizes,,,most I see are 24" or 36" lengths. also check USPS, UPS and FeDex and see what lengths are afforable to ship.

    She should be happy, that is a great job. Maybe you should have stack cut the pieces, I have a filling you will be making more. Women and the things they collect. My wife: plates, Longaberger Baskets, spoons, owls, now material for quilts. on and on and on....

    Cherokee woods in Calif sell black walnut lumber rough cut for $11 a board foot. Length x width x thickness. 150 bf x 11 = $1650 if it is decient.
