  3. Great and beautiful cross. I would have never thought of that color, but it really works.
  4. "Keeper of time".. I did it as "keeper of the glass ball". not sure why just thought a glass ball would look neat. https://theartfactory.com/product/keeper-of-the-time/
  5. Really turned out nice.
  6. I have the same clock cut out and ready to be assembled, Been that way on a shelf for quite a few years.
  7. I think 1/4" is fine, of coarse, it is personal preference that counts. I have done detailed patterns in 1/4" basswood with no problem, and it is softer, I think, than Birch. You may find a #2/0 Pegas blade a little too flexible but again personal preference and what works for you is the real answer.
  8. Yes that is very well done. The whole project. One I have the pattern for but have not got around to cutting.
  9. Glad to have you join us. Beautiful work!
  10. "Just a box". you mean just a very nice looking box. Very well done.
  11. I see several people selling wood on Etsy. Maybe you should cut some in easy shipping sizes and sell some.
  12. I make my own. using the ones that came with the saw as a pattern.
  13. No matter what size you make the hole for the blade to go through it will get bigger over time Your table should be made so you can put a replaceable insert in there. Hegner comes that way and you can buy replaceable inserts or you can make then. As for the dust holes, they do not hurt and must help get rid of more of the dust. As you can see I am getting close to needing a new table top. But u do have a replaceable insert and I make several at a time to have on hand. I do not have dust holes because the hegner table top does not have them.
  14. @Travis
  15. Only care needed is to get the right one Resin/epoxy for the job. For crafts probably getting what a craft store has. For pen making or boat building there are different kinds depending on what you are doing at the time.
  16. You are funning us, you are no newbie... some very nice cuts.
  17. That turned out real nice. I would have never thought of staining like that.
  18. Glad to have you join the village. Look forward to seeing your work.
  19. My problem id these patterns are neat, but at the cost of wood now day, multi-layered get expensive. May have to make an exception for that one.
  20. Cutting mistake BS,,he (your husband) need to come on and defend that!!
  21. Very nice. I think i saw that pattern somewhere the other day and thought about cutting it, just because I love sailing ships so much, well I don't sail then I love other people's sailing ships.
  22. Rolling Stones not my thing, but got to say you did a super job on that plaque..
  23. I have a small shop but will make room if you need a place to store it.
  24. I think whatever you use to color the resin/epoxie it can not be water base. https://acrylgiessen.com/en/epoxy-vs-resin/
