  1. Great job. Love them especially the one of Fred Bear.
  2. All I use are Flying Dutchmen blades. I like the FD-UR series mostly. I highly recommend them.
  3. Thanks for sharing. Very nice indeed.
  4. I served and very proud of it. I keep a pair of flags in the front of my, one in the back along with a garden banner with the pledge of allegiance on it. Would do it all over again tomorrow if they would let me.
  5. I use 3m 77 and don't have this problem. I also cover my projects with blue painters tape then attach the pattern to it.
  6. Thats great Dick. Happy to hear stories like this.
  7. Great job. I'm sure it will be cherished for many years.
  8. I run corel draw. But for intersecting word art, I use inkscape. Much easier then jumping through the hoops.
  9. Nice display Ike. Quite a bit of work there too. Good job.
  10. Congrats Jim Any day your in the black is a good day
  11. Love the display you set up. Clean organized and not cluttered. Good job, a major factor in doings shows. I use the black back ground also, makes things "pop" and easy to see. Thanks for sharing.
  12. Got 2 of the five done. Wished I had more time to devote to this. Christmas season ans special orders, hope all understand.
  13. Thanks for a good posting. Stuff like this is important for me.
  14. Best of luck to you Ike. I normally do pretty well at church shows. Keep us posted on how you do please.
  15. Dick Great news on the additional space. My table saw, router lathe and sanding stuff is in a separate room right behind my scroll saw. You are going to really enjoy it. Does it have heat for the winter?
  16. Good job Jim. Like it.
  17. Beautiful to say the least. I think drawing one up wouldn't be too hard. But if you drew it and then made it, would it still be infringement? Seems like such a fine line.
  18. I have been using the timberwolf blades and am very happy with them.
  19. Sounds like fun. And a worthy cause(s). I'll see what I can do
  20. I use flat ends from Mike's when I use them. Not a big fan of spirals
  21. Amazing when you run into something that brings everything back into perspective. Why most of this started this. Sharing of love and ideas. Great job.
  22. Most of the hobby stores around here closed up. Never thought about them as a source for things for wood working though. Nice info. The Michael's here does not sell the Baltic birch ply but we have a rockler about 25 miles away. Still a bit pricey though.
  23. Proper lighting is important as is a comfortable seat. The dust mask is very important. I would also add patience and to keep in mind to keep it fun. Also maybe add a foot controlled switch.
  24. Experience is the best teacher.Being around for a while everyone's cutting procedures differ a bit. I go by the way the blade moves through the wood. If you have push to feed, the blade is probably dull. It can wonder off line and all sorts of things too. Olsen has a blade chart on their website. A good guide for starting out. Gives you a rough idea of blades vs wood. Welcome to the addiction and keep it fun.
