  1. Sad to hear that. I had great service from them on my air cleaner.
  2. That's what I'm working on now. I have a small Oreck vac the will fit nicely within the confines of the factory stand. I have all tbe piping but need another of the mini cyclones. I will be ordering one soon.
  3. Will do. I want to hear Adam Carolla. He's great.
  4. As I said...what makes them better than a Multimax?
  5. The first thing I noticed was no quick release tension lever in convenient location.
  6. I've wondered the same thing. I know they are a Hegner but what makes them better than the MultiMax?
  7. Are podcasts free? How do you get them? I've never heard one.
  8. Yeah, at least wipe the dust off of it. Not how I sell stuff.
  9. Thanks for the kind thought Kevin. If you look closely at them you should see that the slot appears closer & or wider. There are actually 3 sizes for the different size range of blades. I only bought 2 of the mid size. They seem to work for everything I do. Hang on to them because used saws seldom come with them.
  10. Cheaper for one thing! I had to buy a couple of bottom clamps as my saw only came with one. Add the Quick clamp plus shipping and Boom! $75 bucks.
  11. You could do something crazy and offer a warranty plan with it. Whatever price they agree on, tell them that for X dollars, you'll give them a warranty on the ??? parts of the saw. If you have to do a buy back, well so be it.
  12. Kevin, I realize your location is far different from where I live but here, you'd have no problem getting $500 for your saw. So start there and adjust accordingly.
  13. Kevin, the MetroVac looks like the Seyco unit and the one I have works great with a t'd setup.
  14. We have had an ongoing discussion regarding dust control and I have built a system that is onboard and moves with the saw. I can take my saw outdoors and the system goes with it. It's all controlled off the foot switch. It incorporates a MetroVac500 with a mini cyclone. It has above and below dust pickups. And since I made a home brew muffler for the vac, it's also very quiet.
  15. All of the Hegners I have seen look like they have been dragged across the garage floor. The front edges of the table and the stands all look bad.
  16. That was the one thing that I was going to add. I've added it to all of my saws so if it was included in a saw and worked without creating a "suction" problem, that would be a big selling point for me. Far more important than a dust blower. The Pegas and late Ex's tried but created a problem with too much suction to the point of making the wood immoveable. And nothing above the table. Not rocket science.
  17. Theartfactory.com
  18. What brand is that?
  19. Dave, I thought you were aiming your comment at me. My bad!
  20. Shouldn't have any trouble finding hired help down there.
  21. If I could get away without my wife I'd be tempted.
  22. I'd love to be involved if I wasn't too old and 3000 miles away. Go for it!
  23. That looks like a fun cut. I'll have to search out the pattern. Thanks.
  24. I'm forbidden from saying what I'm thinking.
  25. Welcome to the forum. It's by far the best there is. And you'll find an answer to just about anything you can ask. I know we all look forward to seeing what kind of work you are doing and interested in. Please be sure to include pics as we all love pics.
