  1. If you want to come a bit north, I will give you my old saw. It has been sitting in the garage for a number of years. It was working well last time my neighbour borrowed it.
  2. My hubby has started a new email for all those sites that make you sign up to get the "free" stuff. That filters out the "junk" from his real stuff.
  3. Lovely.
  4. Free is always good. If nothing else, it will make great backers for intarsia or fretwork pieces.
  5. They look great.
  6. Thanks for providing some great ornaments. Personal preference here, on the treble clef, I am not sure about the addition of the top loop. It naturally has a loop and the extra "holder" makes it look deformed.
  7. I make ornaments to send to nieces & nephews. My "new" future son-in-law will be getting a headphone stand.
  8. Thanks for the congrats. Sorry you can't get the woods. The birch and ash would be native woods. Surely you can get "coloured" woods over there.
  9. They look great Frank. I have grabbed the pattern. Quick question - is the back painted or is the whole thing on a backer?
  10. I have a King 22" Professional. On the saw itself it says Excelisor. I bought it a couple of years ago for around $1200 including the stand. It was a demo model which was discounted. This is from the King Canada website. They seem to only have three scroll saws. https://www.kingcanada.com/en/products/woodworking/scroll-saws/
  11. What a great idea.
  12. Thank you Charlie
  13. Well, just home from the sale and Yup, it was a seller. Looks like I will have to make a 4th.
  14. Because it is so new, the only thing to do is to call, call, call.
  15. Lovely Frank. Thanks for the patterns.
  16. Got this one pushed through for my upcoming sale. Disappointed that the Paduk turn as dark as it did. It was a bright orange beside the purple heart - tail feathers. I also included a collage of the three I have now done.
  17. Selling out on last event would be great. I am worried about having stock for the next 3 events. One is a two day event!.
  18. No, I got it from Wood Logo Studios - Steve Shears (https://wood-logos-studio.constantcontactsites.com/).
  19. Well done. I like the way you kept so much open space around the leopard.
  20. Lovely
  21. I did a sale last Saturday and had the most successful sale ever. I sold 8 of my intarsia pieces along with lots of other items. Up until then I wasn't worried about producing stock for the rest of my booked shows. Well, now I am in a panic with three more events. Hoping to get a few more done for the upcoming shows. That said, this is an easy (imo) one that I was able to do in a day. Woods used are Roasted Curly Birch, White Ash and Canarywood. One coat of Walrus Oil for the finish.
  22. Well done. I also like cutting that pattern.
  23. Welcome from Winnipeg (MB). Like Dan, I love those hinges. The other work is great as well.
  24. Organization isn't my best skill. I have projects on a USB drive, in file folders on a bookshelf, in a binder on a different bookshelf, on hubby's computer etc, etc, etc. I do have a folder on my computer that is marked as "cut files" so if I want to cut again, it is a little easier to find.
  25. Congratulations Marg. Well deserved.
