  1. Organization isn't my best skill. I have projects on a USB drive, in file folders on a bookshelf, in a binder on a different bookshelf, on hubby's computer etc, etc, etc. I do have a folder on my computer that is marked as "cut files" so if I want to cut again, it is a little easier to find.
  2. Congratulations Marg. Well deserved.
  3. I would try pre-sanding and then apply tape on top and bottom. It could just be lousy plywood for scrolling.
  4. Gorgeous. I think I have found my next project.
  5. I think I found them! On the left hand side, there is a small "bud" and I think the knot on the trunk is the other.
  6. Sorry it happened. I am with your wife on the look. Unless you know, you don't. It does look like the wood grain. It looks lovely in the thicker wood with the walnut background. Very nice.
  7. It is lovely. Nice modifications.
  8. So cute Alex.
  9. It reminds me of a Sue Mey pattern. Maybe check her site.
  10. Good to hear I am not the only one who does it "old school"! Thank goodness I have a large living room window.
  11. I second Don. Staining on bbply can get very splotchy.
  12. What font did you use for this piece? Both the script and the block.
  13. Stunning.
  14. Another fabulous gift from Great - great grandfather.
  15. That's what I do, but couldn't they use the sticky stuff that others use. I hate bending the staples back into place. I poke myself!
  16. No photo here! Has it happened with other harder woods?
  17. And what is not to like? Great job.
  18. Sorry, I know nothing about the Hegner. When I was cutting jigsaw puzzles, I was using my DeWalt. I know the tension needed to be up there.
  19. I don't know anything about the Hegner. What size blade are you using? There are some very small blades available. FD do have one called Puzzle blades. It has been a while since I cut jigsaw puzzles, but I do recall it easier to cut one direction over the other.
  20. Here is the link. https://www.stevedgood.com/desknativity.pdf
  21. I have done the small ones as well. Also put eye hook in them. Thought I would try the mid-sized one.
  22. Not enough. But not because of scrolling!!! I generally spend a couple of hours a day in the shop.
  23. While trying to figure out what next big intarsia project I want to do I have been puttering around in the shop. I do have some sales coming up so this is for those. The "t" puzzles and nativity items are from wood provided by a friend. They are his cast offs. The angel is a Kathy Wise pattern and I shrank it. It is about 4" tall.
  24. Thanks Dick, It has certainly been an interesting journey. I do enjoy each step. I still do "other" styles because it is not as expensive and there is a more immediate reward.
  25. try resigning up again.
