  1. That is why she said it was a cut of a lynx LOL
  2. 93 puzzles x $25 each = $2,325!! Will take that anytime. Know it isn't all profit but still great.
  3. Now that is what I call recycling!!
  4. And we all here can say "we remember when you was just a common man". All kidding aside very happy you are doing so good. Very nice write up Steve gave you.
  5. I think the "drift" you are taking about is from how the blades are made. FD blades I use with my EX 21you have to hold the line at an angle to make up for the blade drift. I use Pegas MG #5 in the same saw there isn't any drift. Like you said it takes getting use to not holding pattern at an angle. So I don't think it has anything to do with the saw you use. Can't beat MG for 3/4" stuff.
  6. They are 10"x9". Thanks for all the nice comments!
  7. I see some people have a colored circle with a letter in it under there name, what does that mean? Opps getting old!! I see if the person doesn't use a picture it shows letter of there name. Answered own question.
  8. I understand the seyco is bottom feed only. Were the EX is both ways.
  9. Stopped in a quilt supply store with my wife and showed the owner a picture of "Love To Quilt" wall hanging that I have done in the past. She asked what i get for them and ordered ten. After thinking she changed the order to 12. Also wants to see some ornaments that have something to do with quilting. The top row is made out of white oak, middle row walnut and cherry on bottom. I was thinking she may want to put a couple in shop to sale but instead she wants to give to each of her employees for Christmas. Stacked cut two at a time. Sue Mey pattern.
  10. Nice video! Only person I have seen using a hold down foot. I have no idea were mine is.
  11. Hate to ask, what is it?
  12. With all the trouble you have had and now having to work on a new saw after waiting another week I would think you should be given a nice refund.
  13. Nice sharp cutting!! Letters are very unforgiving to cut. Everyone knows how they are to look. So if not cut right it shows. You will be accursed of using a computer LOL
  14. I have a lumber mill about 15 miles from me. They also import wood. Called Frank Miller Lumber. Can see on there website. I am very lucky to live so close to a great place to get any type of wood I need.
  15. Has anyone used or even heard of Garapa? It is a lot like yellowheart but a bit darker. From South America. In the picture the tag is misspelled, should be garApa not garOpa. Now have to find something to make out of it. It sold for $4.79 BF not bad.
  16. You sound like Goldelocks and the 3 bears Hotshot LOL
  17. I don't think you will be sorry. You won't have the level come up by itself anymore. Let us know what you think when you get it.
  18. I got the upgrade about 2 years ago. What it does is keeps the white level from wearing out as fast and the level locks in position. Well worth the extra money. When they say polish it means they have ground a flat spot for the level to rest on.
  19. The picture is 13"x35". It is made in three sections. Cut the trains and the wording than it is put together. Thanks for all of the kind comments!
  20. The train is a pattern I got out of scroller so not sure who made it. This is the first time I received a Grand Champion ribbon at the country fair. I beat all the other projects in the open classes not just the wood class. Have gotten Champion for the past three years. The clock is a Sue Mey pattern. She has it with the clock at the top or the bottom. I used a smaller insert than she showed.
  21. I over lap painters tape about 3/16" seems to help when time to take off. Also I spray 3m77 glue onto the tape. Don't get glue on your hands this away. You wouldn't want to use packing tape on bear wood it will be very hard to get off. I do put packing tape over pattern.
  22. I picked up a window AC unit at a sale for $25 and it keeps the shop/garage around 75 when it is 95 outside.
  23. The dust collector was at the same auction but was a different buy. I am using 150 & 80.
  24. The dust collector is working good. I ran out of the clear hose for the table saw so had to use dryer hose until I can get more of the clear hose. I am still using the shop vac with dust deputy for the scroll saw.
  25. I finally got to use the drum sander that I got a good deal on at an auction. It is one of those tools that you wounder how you got along with out it. Sanded 8 one foot square boards. Did a great job an best of all no work on me LOL.
