  8. Your story and your work both remined us that there are good people doing good things this this world - dispite what the news seems to tell us. Thanks Jim
  9. Very nice! I like the way you did the backer. Is that your pattern?
  10. First good lighting. Then a foot switch ($14 at Harbor Freight), Drill press and/or Dremel type tool. Last a stationary belt sander.

  15. Randy - Great summery! I have been wondering about these high end saws for a while and trying to decide which one is on my wish list. Doing a lot of fret work, kind of points me to Excalibur. It seems to me that Hawk and Hegner would sell a lot more if they upgraded the blade clap systems. Dewalt, Delta, and Excalibur have it figured it out - why can't they? Am I missing something here or are they? Jim
  16. Kevin, try this link: http://stevedgo.ipower.com/cat/?page_id=1788. If that does not work, look in the Misc. section of his plan database. - Jim
  17. Jerry, I am like you - forcing myself to learn bottom top feeding. The more I practice, the easier it is getting. Learning, always learning.
  18. Well done Gordie!
  19. I agree with Scrappile. I use the 3/0 baldes the most. That size breaks more often than any other blade size I use, but that is the nature of that beast. Make sure you are drilling holes as large as the pattern will allow.
  20. Jerry, please keep us posted on what else you find and how you like the saw. I have had my eye on the Delta for a while as an option for when my Dewalt is worn out. Jim
  21. Very nice work. That is one to be proud of!
  22. I was playing around on CraigsList and found this. A EX-16 in Mason City, IA. if anyone is close and interested. They are asking $400. Thought I would share since it is too far away for me. Jim
  23. Awesome work! Very impressive!
  24. Under the weather huh? You get more done in a day sick, than I get in a week well. Nice job, Amazing.
