  1. Very nice, they always come in handy. Chris
  2. Excellent work, lots of hours there!!! Chris
  3. I echo what the others have said. Stay safe, we're pulling for you. Chris
  4. Frank, Thanks for the info. I'm thinking there's one in my future and the Rigid. Like in Barb's example, mine lives under the King SS. Chris
  5. This pattern is from the Spring 2022 (issue 86) of Scrollsaw Woodworking and Crafts. A pattern by Clayton Meyers. It's cut from curly maple with an epoxy pour. I'm stoll on a learning curve with the epoxy, but I learn something each time I try. Chris
  6. I just went to the Wood Magazine website, from there click on plans at the top. Then I entered in the search "scrollsaw stand" it was the first thing that popped up. Clicked on it and there you can see the plans
  7. Actually they are from Wood Magazine and they're a free download, thanks anyhow. I am getting some inspiration from them. I plan to use mortise and tenon instead of screws. Then drive some wood pegs to tighten everything up.
  8. Very nice, I really like the plant chair Chris
  9. I was thinking drawers on the sides, but maybe 1 drawer and 1 foldout other other side..
  10. I too am a setter, so I'm going to set it up for that. I'm thinking mortise joints will help with stability. Time to generate some plans...
  11. I believe this is what he was referring to. I'm intrigued by this ans I know some dining room tables use this and they're pretty stable. Have to think on this.
  12. Hadn't really thought about pricing, wanted to see if anyone here was interested first.
  13. I'm at a point now with my King SS that I'm going to build a stand for it. I see tons of ideas online but the one thing that has me wondering. I see most all of them have 2 legs up front and 1 at the back, that makes sense given the shape of the saw. But I'm wondering, has anyone ever put the single leg up front and 2 in back? I'm thinking it would make it easier for the foot pedal from a sitting position. Chris
  14. Some of you may know I upgraded to a King 16" about a year ago and im loving it. So I'm not using my Delta at all. And with a small shop like i have, floor space is a premium. So if there's anyone interested in the saw drop me a line. I figured I'd start here to see if anyone was interested before I got to other places to sell it. Chris (Wasn't real sure where to post this)
  15. My wife saw this somewhere online, asked me if I could make on for her. I couldn't remember where I saw the pattern, so a quick post here and Wayne Mahler pointed me to where I could find it. Her only request was to change the tail position, she's a show dog person, Springer Spaniel. I used Ash and Butternut. Took less time than I thought. I gotta say I'm really loving the King SS I picked up last year. Chris
  16. Interesting subject. Nice job !
  17. Love that place, got my P-20 from them. But since moving here to Beaverton it's a bit to far for me to go just for wood. I do pretty good at the Tool Haus in Gladwin. Chris
  18. Great work. I believe the Cowgril, Woody's friend is Jessie, The yodeling Cowgirl. If memory serves me. Chris
  19. Nice, They will be handy as a place for leashes, my wife is always looking for one for the dogs. Chris
  20. Nice Job! Great Subject! Chris
  21. We all started much in the same way you have. But I dare say that it's too late, you're addicted, welcome to the dark side! (lol) Enjoy the ride. Your puzzle looks great. Chris
  22. Not sure I would call it "easy" as each pattern has challenging aspects to it. You did a great job on this, looks great!! You should be proud of your work! Chris
  23. No lid, saw dust keeps the Dr. away lol....
