    I too like special orders, especially at our frame shop. People bring in the most unusual items to frame. Our biggest was a full size guitar with photographs and a whiskey bottle.

    As a custom framer, we use the D hangers and wire. There are different hangers and wire up to 100 pounds. There is also a product called 'Wall Buddies' which attach to the top on both corners.

    Living here in TN where the 'Trail of Tears' began, the term 'stripped from them' is very appropriate.

    Last week we watched an episode of 'Have Gun - Will Travel' in which Quanah Parker was a character. I knew he wasn't fictional, so I looked him up. I just had to do this portrait. The pattern is by Gary Browning and found in his book, "Wild West Scroll Saw Portraits". I enlarged the pattern by 65% to fit an 11" x 14" frame. I used 1/4" Baltic Birch plywood and backed with a black mat board. In framing, I used Acrylite, a framing quality plastic. The blades used were FD New Spiral #1 and there are two coats of spray Shellac. Comments welcome.
