  1. Kevin, I use skewers purchased from the local big box store. They are just the right size for perches and inexpensive too.
  2. You sure kept busy, Kevin.
  3. Last week someone came into ArtCrafters and bought the only Miniature Birdhouse that can stand. She asked if I had more. I purchased the set of eight from Diana Thompson's website and made four of the eight this past weekend. I used Aromatic Red Cedar for the houses and Yellowheart for the birds. I also used FD Polar #7 blades. These are a fun easy compound cut. Comments welcome.
  4. You are the coin cutting master, Randy.
  5. Congrats on the first show. Your setup looks great.

  15. Well done, Roly. Maple would be good, but the pine turned out great.
  16. Thanks for the comments. Last night I purchased the patterns for eight standing Miniature Birdhouses from Diana Thompson's website. More work to do.
  17. On the houses, I use FD Polar #7 at full speed on an EX21. For the birds, I use FD Polar #3.
  18. Kevin, I use wood skewers found at Walmart. Works great. Just make sure you use the right size drill.
  19. Very nice cutting. All projects look good.
  20. A wonderful cut. DonR has great patterns.
  21. Thanks for all the encouraging words. For those interested, give compound cutting a try. One suggestion, after cutting the first side, keep the block together and tape tight. I use packing tape. There are also jigs used to hold the block together.
  22. Thanks, Larry. Very easy to make.
  23. Very well done, Jim.
  24. Thanks, Don, give it a go.
  25. While sitting at the computer with the display in front of me, someone came into ArtCrafters and purchased one of the Miniature Birdhouses. She liked the one with a flat base so it can stand.
