  1. We own a store in Dayton TN, ArtCrafters. Our main business is Custom Framing, but we also have art and craft on consignment by local artists and crafters. Works very well for us.
  2. I use the FD Polar blades for compound cutting because they seem to eliminate the dust collecting therefore the binding.
  3. Very nice pattern and cutting.
  4. Very well done. Glad you posted.
  5. Wow, that looks great dick, and nice frame too. When I first saw the topic, I thought 'Paper Cuts' and I get thoses all the time.
  6. Thanks gor the comments guys.
  7. Dick, glad I got your interest peaked. Give compound cutting a try.
  8. Ralph, I have not sold any of the Standing Miniature Birdhouses yet, but I just sold three of the hanging ones.
  9. Thanks Edward and Bob. No, I cut them as sized on the pattern. The smallest is 3 1/2" and the tallest is 5".
  10. Thanks Dave and Dan. I did not have any 3/4" Hard Maple, so I used the Red Oak.
  11. That was sure a challenge and you did a wonderful job.
  12. Thanks Jim. No talent for painting here, so I will leave them plain. Polar blades are aggressive, so you have to let the blade do the cutting.
  13. Thanks Ralph. Not sure if they will sell, but someone mentioned they would look great on a window sill.
  14. Well done. Living in GA and not a Braves fan! Actually I live in TN and a Twins fan.
  15. Thanks for all the nice comments. Without staining the water, the seahorse did not stand out. Staining really helps.
  16. Thanks for all the nice comments. I did not adapt these, the patterns come from Diana Thompson's website. In fact, I received a comment on my Facebook page from Diana. It seems she is selling a lot of these patterns lately.
  17. Wow, thanks for the nice comments everyone. Actually the holes in the middle were very small and required a #1 blade, so I continued using it on all the other cuts.
  18. I use FD Polar #7 for the birdhouses and #5 for the birds. The Polar blades remove the sawdust better and therefore less burning and binding.
  19. Welcome to the forum from TN. It looks like you got the Scroll Saw bug. It is contageous but in a good way.
  20. Thanks Don, for the nice comment
  21. Thanks Don. Now the set of eight is complete.
  22. Thanks Don. The Red Oak really works with this one.
  23. Thanks for the comments, guys.
  24. Thanks, Gordie. As for holes, I did count them at 75.
  25. Thanks Paul. The Yellowheart really stands out.
