    Ralph if I can paint this you can paint your wreath. Since it's a wreath the base color would be green so spray paint it with a rattle can and then hand paint the other colors. Walmart has artist brushes and hobby paint to finish it with.

    I hope you do better with DeWalt than some people have. There is a very good video on You Tube about repairing the DW788. I have posted it on this forum at least twice but if you can't find it send me a PM.

    I don't know about it being overkill Jim but I think it is about money, the not wanting to spend money. I also think a lot of people don't like following safety rules like breathing dust and hearing protection. People also don't like safety shoved down their throat. Think smoking and seat belts.

    John I was unaware you had been sick. Glad you are better and back in the shop. As you know our health means everything.

    I have the EX16 and really love it but like others I took the dust collection off. ""It sucks"". I had a DW788 but it was bad and I took it back so I can't comment on it. I would like to try the RBI just for the heck of it.

    I just been out in the shop playing with the speed on my drill press and speeding it up helped a lot.

    I am having trouble drilling small holes. When I drill the hole the paper around the hole is messed up and hides the line I need to cut. Please can you give me your advice. If I haven't explained my problem where you understand it please ask questions. I seem to have problems expressing my thoughts in writing at times.

    I really like buying from Mike's. They ship quick and the blades come packed well unlike WTB. Of coarse that may have been a one time thing. I bought a variety of FD spiral blades. The "New Spiral" blades have teeth on both sides and cut smoother than others. I think spirals have there place.
