  1. Excellent.
  2. Thanks Rodney. I liked how this wood looks too. All the wood from the drawers is edge joined but it doesn't show up very much on this one. Most of the rest will probably wind up as backers, but I like free backers too.
  3. Those two actors and Denzel Washington for me. I don't think it's racist to say that black guys tend to be naturally cooler than white guys. True for me anyway.
  4. From the awesome movie, Field Of Dreams. Unknown wood from drawer of discarded antique dresser. Pattern is in the library.
  5. Great job!
  6. That's a neat project. Love all the color!
  7. Very beautiful work!
  8. Wow! Those will bring a lot of smiles.
  9. Really nice! The grain on the cedar and the way the plywood took the stain on the edges looks great.
  10. Nice job on a fun project! Hard wood that thick takes some patience but sure makes for a nice finished piece. Such a diverse, fun hobby.
  11. Nice job!!!
  12. Wow! Very neat!
  13. Yes. Love the song. I’ve used the lyric on several bird cuttings. This the first one that was actually a sparrow.
  14. Nice job! Thanks for sharing!
  15. Thank you Marg! I wasn't sure where it would wind up when I made it, but it's going to my sister who who is a church secretary. It's going in her office, so I added the text.
  16. No way.
  17. Love this beautiful piece of live edge Cherry. Pattern is in the Library. For some reason it's blurry until you click on it.
  18. Beautiful work, Dave!
  19. Nice job, Dick.
  20. I love it Danny. As for the color of the leaves I like what Harry Chapin has to say in his song, Flowers Are Red, if you get a chance to listen some time.
  21. Great looking stuff, Barb. Good luck!
  22. Wow! That’s some seriously nice work!
  23. Imperfections just show it’s handmade. One of my favorite quotes. “Ring the bells that still can ring. Forget your perfect offering. There is a crack in everything. That’s how the light gets in.”
  24. Actually that’s some Mondo grass around one our trees. I do love using grass as a backdrop.
