  1. That looks great!
  2. There is a Tractor Supply store near me. The big zero turn mowers come in on really big hardwood pallets. It's usually mystery wood but sometimes it's oak. I don't imagine it's kiln dried but for something like this I'll take a chance on it warping. My favorite thing about it is the cost.
  3. My wife spotted a Nativity she liked at Hobby Lobby and requested I build one. I found a large oak pallet with some nice color variation to build it with. It's about 2' X2' and will go on our entertainment center. They cost $20 at Hobby Lobby so I don't plan to go into competition with them.
  4. Very nice work on everything!
  5. Nice job and Happy Holidays!
  6. My daughter moved houses a couple of months back. I saw an idea similar to this online. I shrunk it and added the tree and the wreath. Feliz Navidad!
  7. Exactly. I'm hoping they will last a while and one or two of my grandkids have a talent for breaking things. Plus they do pick up the lights nicely.
  8. Those are cute, and yes it is addictive.
  9. Great job. I need to turn the reader into a girl and cut it for my daughter.
  10. Those are great. I never thought about making outdoor ornaments.
  11. My wife found an idea on the internet for ornaments for our five 6-9 year old grandkids. I copied their idea and added the plexiglass backers and snow on individual names and date. I like them but it would have been easier to let her order them.
  12. I took my kids to the drive-in to see Muppet Christmas Carol about 30 years ago. We all get together and watch it every year. Tonight was the night this year so I cut two of these to give my two oldest who've given me 5 grandkids. I hope they're still watching it 30 years from now and still have these cuttings to remember tonight. The pattern is in the library.
  13. Thanks. Yes, I used acrylic and sanded it to distress it a bit to match the look of the rest of it.
  14. Great job. I love the kayak idea.
  15. Your vehicles are always fun to look at. You do such a great job with them. They're all great, but the little boy in me loves the firetrucks.
  16. Thank you! This was a rough cut board so it was fun watching it come through the planer with all the variations in color. Wish I had a ton of it.
  17. I can see how it might not be as popular outside the USA. I'm impressed that you recognized it though. His song, Vincent aka Starry Night is my favorite.
  18. Thank you! I love this song but his song, Vincent, about Vincent Van Gogh is one of my all time favorites.
  19. I’m sure you’ve heard the song Bye Bye Miss American Pie. This is the picture on the cover of the album with that song.
  20. Been planning to cut this since, "a long, long time ago." If you know, you know.
  21. Looks great, Rodney!
  22. Thank you! I was a trumpet player too. In fact I sold a trumpet to help pay for my scroll saw. I grew up loving The Tijuana Brass.
  23. I see them bloom for me and you, and...
  24. First Christmas thing I've made this year. Gorgeous piece of walnut. 5 1/2" nativity made for my daughter's dorm room.
  25. Excellent work!
