  1. I love it Danny. As for the color of the leaves I like what Harry Chapin has to say in his song, Flowers Are Red, if you get a chance to listen some time.
  2. Great looking stuff, Barb. Good luck!
  3. Wow! That’s some seriously nice work!
  4. Imperfections just show it’s handmade. One of my favorite quotes. “Ring the bells that still can ring. Forget your perfect offering. There is a crack in everything. That’s how the light gets in.”
  5. Actually that’s some Mondo grass around one our trees. I do love using grass as a backdrop.
  6. I cut this once before, a couple of years ago. I looked up the difference between thankful and grateful then and had to look again to get it straight in my mind. As I understand it an example would be, while you’re thankful for the food you’re eating, you’re grateful that hunger isn’t really a problem for you.
  7. Great stuff! I especially like the chapel plus all the weathered wood. Just guessing, is it old fence boards?
  8. Beautifully done Danny! You did a great job hiding the entry holes. Before I read your comment I was trying to find them with it zoomed in and couldn't find any.
  9. Me too! Since it's caused by fungi it always makes me think how perfection is overrated, and imperfections are what make things/people unique and beautiful.
  10. Holy cow Rodney! Beautiful job on an amazing pattern. I zoomed in and I love all the tiny holes. They really add to the realistic look. Also noticed you did an excellent job getting rid of any fuzzies. That had to be tedious. Fantastic job.
  11. Really nice job Dick! Lots of holes in that one.
  12. Love those! Never heard of that.
  13. Looks perfect from Alabama! Great job! Especially love the wood for the wing.
  14. Very cool Paul! He's bound to love it. What a great hobby we have.
  15. Thanks. Yes, I believe this is spalted oak.
  16. Simple name cutting for my daughter’s college friend. The right piece of wood turns something simple into something beautiful.
  17. Wonderful job! Razor sharp cutting.
  18. Wow! I'm always amazed to hear home prices in other parts of the country/world. Mine is nothing fancy at all, but nice enough for me. 3 bedroom, brick, 1,800 sq ft on 1/2 acre. We paid 49,000 in 90 and it might be worth around $200,000 now. Hard to imagine a 1900 sq ft house bringing 1.5 mil for us Alabama folks.
  19. Very nicely done!
  20. Nice job, Dick!
  21. Fantastic piece all around! Great cutting and coloring!
  22. Great cutting Marg! But you forgot to do a Charlie.
  23. Super cool trucks! Bound to be a hit with little dudes.
  24. I love the pattern Barb and the colors you chose are great! I've had so many puzzle pieces that would only go one way I couldn't count them. You're right, things most certainly don't always work out. Some people need to stop taking themselves so seriously and keep their negativity to themselves.
  25. Great job and the colors are fantastic. Just fun to look at.
