  1. I think I liked him more after he got a little less cocky. I've always said because of my low self esteem that I'm alienated by anyone with extra confidence. I sent you a message with the beginning s of a pattern.
  2. Thank you. I have given it some thought. I was never a big Toby fan but like so many times after he died I’ve heard many good things about him. I really love Don’t Let The Old Man In. I actually watched The Mule a couple of days ago because Clint Eastwood inspired the song and it was included in the movie. Loved the movie.
  3. Love those. Great job.
  4. Nice job!
  5. Wow. That is just beautiful!
  6. Thanks Marie! I did have the thistle on the other one but it was more detailed. When I started cutting it this time, I started cutting the more detailed thistle first and ruined it causing me to scrap the piece of wood. I decided to simplify it and I think I might prefer it as it looks more like a silhouette of an actual thistle. Thanks for the kind words about the eyes. That's the first thing I work on with a pattern or cutting because if they're bad there's no need to keep going.
  7. It's in the library but this will keep you from having to hunt. I added some detail to the hair on the right, his left, and put one more line on his cheek because there seemed to be too much space with nothing going on. You could pretty easily add it to the pattern before cutting if you want to.
  8. I cut one like this a few months ago but a dear friend said he'd like to have it so I finally got around to cutting one for myself. The pattern is in the library but I added a bit of detail as I cut it this time.
  9. First thing I did was cut it in half at the waist.
  10. Great job!
  11. Great job on all! Who did the pattern on the couple. It looks great. I remember you showing me the picture and it was going to be a tough one. Turned out very nice!
  12. Yes. I used edge joined 3/4" pine and 1/4" Luan for the backer.
  13. I can’t imagine. Beautiful job.
  14. Beautiful piece!
  15. I thought the same thing. Lots of people sell similar ones on Etsy. Of course people sell Disney stuff on Etsy too. Just a matter of the right person noticing I suppose.
  16. Wish it was my idea. My daughter found them for sale online somewhere and I copied their design. I think I had around $40 each in them and they sell on Etsy for $50 made of unfinished MDF cut with CNC. I agree, in the right location they would probably sell very well, just not ideal for scroll saw work. Still, a great project for grandkids.
  17. Beautiful/fun work!!!
  18. Two of my grandsons are really into Legos so I built two of these Lego Man displays. I loved doing it for them but this would be a good job for a CNC machine. It's amazing how diverse Legos have become over the years. My wife and daughter both have Lego flower arrangements.
  19. Very nice job! I love that pattern and you did it justice!
  20. Cute!!!
  21. Great job! I love that it's reversible.
  22. You did a great job!
  23. Cute sign. Nice job!
  24. He's played Odin-God Of War, Sigmund Freud, C S Lewis, Alfred Hitchcock, John Quincey Adams, and dozens of others. All we think of is Fava Beans.
  25. Nice job! Cool idea!
