  1. You're on another level, Dave. That's some fine art.
  2. Very nice work!
  3. Love this man's music! I got this wood from the drawers of a roadside discarded dresser. "Happy Enchilada" is sort of an inside John Prine Joke. If you're interested I posted a clip that explains it in the comments.
  4. Cool project! I’m in the over thinking club.
  5. That’s great! Makes me think of something I heard about Walt Disney. Taking an already good idea and making it better. He called it plussing.
  6. I think you did a great job with that pattern. My 2 cents is that I don't care for spirals at all for several reasons. I cut mostly hardwoods and I believe flat blades are better suited for that. As you mentioned spirals do leave more fuzzies and I don't like that. As you also mentioned, if you're using spirals you're not going to get a sharp inside corner. While I certainly don't cut perfectly, I am a perfectionist and I really like precision. Of course that's just my viewpoint and the best blade to use is the one you enjoy using.
  7. Looks good to me! Thanks for sharing. I’m so happy people enjoy the pattern. Sometimes simplicity is best. It’s what I liked about the original photo. Nice job!
  8. The kid in me wants to believe, but I sadly suspect he's a myth. Who knows.
  9. While I wasn't necessarily an "avid" Toby Keith fan, I did like several of his songs, especially one of his last, "Don't Let The Old Man In." I was really moved by what Stephen Colbert had to say about Toby after he died. If you'd like to see it I put the link in the first comment. Party in peace, Toby.
  10. Thanks Marg. I'm starting to think eveybody's been there but me.
  11. I love it! How awesome to be able to make things for our family that they’ll love now, plus that will keep us alive in their memories after we’re gone.
  12. Great job. Certainly doesn't look like a beginner.
  13. Beautiful and I like the arrow. The first time you made one I thought it would be fun to have up and play over a period of time so that's a great idea!
  14. Nice. Really love the spalted floating shelves.
  15. I'd like to tour it. I watched it again tonight, it'd been many years. I don't see how you stay sane in a cell that small.
  16. Probably the first movie to show me that I have absolutely no business in prison. If interested, the pattern is in the library.
  17. Very nice! I know she loved it.
  18. I think I liked him more after he got a little less cocky. I've always said because of my low self esteem that I'm alienated by anyone with extra confidence. I sent you a message with the beginning s of a pattern.
  19. Thank you. I have given it some thought. I was never a big Toby fan but like so many times after he died I’ve heard many good things about him. I really love Don’t Let The Old Man In. I actually watched The Mule a couple of days ago because Clint Eastwood inspired the song and it was included in the movie. Loved the movie.
  20. Love those. Great job.
  21. Nice job!
  22. Wow. That is just beautiful!
