  1. Me too!
  2. I purchased a couple of images on Etsy that make pretty good scroll saw patterns with a couple of bridges added. Fall and wood art go well together I think. I did the barn quilt pattern a few years ago. It makes a good place to hang seasonal pieces.
  3. Great job. Way to be a great neighbor!
  4. Thanks! I love pieces of wood like this. I've got a couple of feet left so I may do something like that.
  5. Awe, thank you! Here's what I use for the pattern. I just draw the flying birds on the pattern in pencil and straighten out that one bent prong.
  6. I did this before, a year or so ago, and ran across another board today that fit it pretty well I think. I started to add a quote but I think it probably says different things to different people.
  7. Great job!! Very clean cutting. I was about to ask about the font as well. Thanks for the info! Going to download it right now. (Lots of glitter at my house)
  8. Nice job. Nice stache.
  9. Merle Haggard should have been the 4th. That would have been an awesome foursome.
  10. Ha. Definitely not noticeable. I glued some tiny teeth back in a portrait recently. It hurt my perfectionist pride but like most of our mistakes, known by only us. Again, great job!
  11. Great job Dave. I like how you handled the two Pegas labels.
  12. I saw the cutting on Etsy and I messaged the seller. He was nice enough to share the pattern with me.
  13. Waylon was one of my favorites growing up. Cut in 3/8" oak with wormy black walnut backer.
  14. Wow! Awesome story. Do you remember which two it was? I've seen Willie and Waylon live. Missed Johnny and honestly never was much of a Kristofferson fan. I think of him more as a great songwriter. My favorite being Sunday Morning Coming Down. Fits your story a bit.
  15. Thank you! I do most of my cutting in hardwoods rather than plywood. Just a personal preference I guess. It's definitely slower than 1/4" plywood but it's all in what you get used to I suppose.
  16. Cut from 1/2" Red Oak, 7" X 14". Rough cut Poplar stained English Chestnut as a backer. Great Pattern by H Botas.
  17. Simplistic and epic!
  18. Great job! On my to do list.
  19. Good looking piece there Kevin.
  20. Thank you. I don't really have the time to make patterns. I'm really slow. Usually takes me a few hours and mine are usually kind of a rough draft and I make changes as I go along, while cutting. There are however lots of guys on here that do it. Just click on forums and scroll down to pattern requests. They're better than me anyway.
  21. I don't use any software. Old school carbon paper. I print the photo out as big as I can on letter sized paper then use carbon paper and trace where I think I should cut out. Charles Dearing has some tutorials on this method on Youtube. I guess it's pretty primitive but I enjoy it.
  22. Thanks everyone. I think I've shared before that this is a Sue Mey pattern.
  23. 454 actually.
  24. I got drawn into Covid-19/political debates for a couple of days on FB. Realized nobody has ever changed someone else's mind in the history of social media and I was not having any fun. So I went to my shop and made this and posted it on FB in a "guess a # between 1 and 500" giveaway.Time much better spent and I'm smiling again. Y'all stay safe!
  25. Your work always blows my mind Dave! Fantastic.
