  1. These door stops took a total of 3 minutes, from outline to cut to sanding. They're not finished yet, but it's a really good use of all the scrap wood I have. I'm thinking of cutting them in half...Thoughts? Thanks as always for reading
  2. Love 'em. Thanks for sharing them
  3. That is really cool! Thanks for sharing it
  4. Nicely done - I love those things. Go well with train sets also
  5. Nice job on that - thanks for sharing it
  6. After posting this in another thread, I realized this is perhaps one of the best things I learned here in this forum, so thank you to you all for the support and help you've given me... Tip #1 n reference to cutting on or off the line... Tip #2 I wish I found this site sooner! Spend as much time as you can on this site and don't be afraid to ask questions. The people here are perhaps the most welcoming, friendly and helpful I've ever encountered on any forum website! Tip #3 If this is a hobby, treat it as such. It can be an expensive hobby if you let it get out of control. Buy things you need (tools, wood, accessories) as you need them instead of all at once. And most of all... HAVE FUN!
  7. To me, less is more. Saying that, the only thing I would suggest is place simple cutout on the front of the drawers or doors. Otherwise, I don't think something like this needs embellishment, making it would a WOW factor in itself. Thanks for sharing it though, looks great
  8. Wow, that must have been a lot of drilling - very nice work. Thanks for sharing it and making feel even more inadequate LOL J/K
  9. You're on top of this Intarsia stuff! Is that a real Lure? Priceless
  10. I have the HF 2 hp and a shop vac
  11. Nicely done! Thanks for sharing
  12. That looks very sturdy - grats on the new toy
  13. Does anyone use an Air Quality tester in their shop? I've been doing so much cutting lately, I've been considering adding one to the shop. The pine I get makes so much dust when it's cut on the table saw, it sometimes makes a small cloud for a few minutes. Specially when doing rabbets and lap joints. Thanks in advance as always
  14. I'm using a dust mask to cut pretty much everything these days
  15. Nice stuff - both of them Thanks for sharing - letters still out of my reach
  16. Grats on the new toy, can't wait to see your projects
  17. Where are you all getting 5x5 sheets?
  18. I don't see a problem - what am I missing?
  19. I've been doing some searching for various things to cut (CD's DVD's etc.) and I came upon this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Boba-Fett-Wall-Art-Vinyl-Record-Clock-Star-Wars-Home-Decor-Disney-Kids-Best-Gift/263207048472?_trkparms=aid%3D1110006%26algo%3DHOMESPLICE.SIM%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D225074%26meid%3D0c2dad0a214f4c44ac0af95a468b8969%26pid%3D100010%26rk%3D10%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D153548769005%26itm%3D263207048472%26pmt%3D1%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2047675%26algv%3DDefaultOrganicWithImageNsfwFilter&_trksid=p2047675.c100010.m2109 Wouldn't this be considered a trademarked/copy protected image? There are hundreds of these types of cuts on ebay and other sale sites. I've seen Rolling stones, black sabbath, acdc, Elvis and lots more. It seems to me perhaps these images are not so protected? Thoughts? Thanks in advance as always
  20. Very cool cut - thanks for sharing it
  21. Thanks @JustLarry - images doesn't appear to work for me though probably threads are too old
  22. I could have sworn I saw someone here who had used cd's or dvd's as material for a pattern but can't find it using the search. Does anyone remember seeing that and if so have a link? I have a huge stack of old cd's I want to cut to something and am looking for ideas. Thanks as always in advance
  23. Can you add a 'Y' connector? I have one on my make shift dust system for the Saw
  24. Wow, very nice - love the cut scorpion!
  25. I've thought they all look nice myself. Nice work though, thanks for sharing it
