  1. Good Job Kevin. i am fully aware of that problem. I used to make toys and purchased my paint in 4 litre tins, then decant it into 1;litre or 500ml jars. After not doing anything for a number of years, I had to chuck litres of the stuff out,it stank. I did save some, but it was a waste.
  2. a super job Brenda. Tony is sure to treasure that.
  3. Absolutely beautiful. Are the hearts photo frames?
  4. Now, If you were in Western Australia, I'd snap it up at $500. Before you purchase you Pegas from Bear Woods try @Denny Knappen he is a Pegas distributor. I've got one more move ahead of me and hopefully that will my last. Just looking in my shed makes me shudder.
  5. A bit late to the party, I loved Klingspoor. I purchased 200 of the 360, 220 and 180 and 120 quite a few years ago. Have run out iof a few now and have been getting Diablo from the local hardware. If our Dollar improves a bit, I'll be placing another order with klingsore. I also use their paper for my Drum sander and their rolls for the oscillating drum sander.
  6. Nice one Brenda.
  7. Don't trash the dog, package him up and take him to your shows. I bet there is somebody out there who has this bread with the name. You could even give it to a nipper at your stall.
  8. A really nice whimsical piece Gary. Heldas does some great patterns.
  9. A couple of truly nice boxes Dave.
  10. A really beaut box. Displays your talent wonderfully.
  11. Very nice cutting. I don't usually go much for the burnt look, but the border really suits this.
  12. Wishing you a speedy recovery Ralph and a happy and uneventful move.
  13. I have an air brush, actually a couple of cheapies. I used them for painting my toys, Stripes on Tigers and Zebras etc, with my big compressor. No worries. What I would suggest are some cheap touch up guns. I have 4 of them and use them for different coloured paints etc. but they should work fine for any other finishes.
  14. Good tip Mike. I will have to try that.
  15. A great idea and nice looking job. Just a thought, I do occasionally have good ones. This may or may not be that time Placing a hack saw blade on the wood strip with the teeth just proud so you would not need to cut the paper. You could then hang it on a wall. Just thinking out loud.
  16. Good enough for me. I just keep on scrolling if I see something I don't agree with, Just like I wouldn't stop the car and complain or spray paint a reply on a bill board I never agreed with, just keep on keeping on. People are going to have a hard job changing my mind about a lot of things and I reckon I would have the same problem with them, so I'd rather have a beer then stress about immovable objects.
  17. Just hang in their mate. When I started making things a while ago after quite a few years of staying away from shed, I'd come across a pattern or jig and Think "What in the hell did I make this for". I'll even see a few toys I have made and wonder" How did I make that do that etc" It comes back after a while, or the upside is you can discover a whole new and different way of doing things
  18. I have a supply of #1, 2 and 3's. spirals. Depending upon how fine the cut is or the width of the lines as to which blade I use. Just have fun
  19. He'll be kicking that Devils arse again Nice cutting. I often use both flat and spiral blades, just for that sort of thing. Long straight, looping cuts the flat lots of twists and turns = Spiral
  20. A lot of Grandkids getting spoiled on here of late Well done
  21. Very nice Kevin, Now just keep the screwdrivers away from the kids
  22. A Helda Botas Pattern. He made this when we had the bushfires in Oz. I love it. Very well executed
  23. Very nice Denny. Money boxes are great gifts. I used to make a few. I purchased about 20 musical inserts, that you set into the top. They have the money slot in them and play a tune as the money passes though. Sadly I never used any as the slot is to narrow for our 50 cent piece.
  24. Really neat.
  25. You are bound to enjoy your new saw Ike. My worst fear is that when I die the missus will sell all my tools for price I told her I paid for them
