I bought an A2 sized one that was big enough for me . A2 Plain Magnetic Sheet (0.4mm Thickness) I'm sure if you put the title into your search engine you'd find an American supplier. Our office supplies/ craft shops have them.

I have a Siamese and her favourite place is my lap too. I also have a big black 'yard' cat who loves to sit on my keyboard
