The napkins come out very easily as they are only 'slipped' into the holder. The whole thing then looks 'naked' but they don't fall over as they are on a flat base. Hope this helps.

Yes, I've burnt the piece in this photo and will remake at 100% and I think then it will take my 'normal 13" square one, and I'm going to try and get some 'cocktail napkins' and make one to fit those too. Just for comparison.
