  1. I found Super 77 this morning at Menards for $10.99. They had plenty of other brands and "stickynesses" too.
  2. I use cheap, clear shelf paper (16 rolls shipped to the local Dollar Tree store for $17 + change) and then 3M Super 77 spray adhesive. For small projects use blue painters tape.
  3. I've got the Grizzly floor model. It's definitely overkill, but Amazon had it on sale a few years ago plus free shipping and I just couldn't resist. Prior to that I had a Delta which the motor burnt out, and the Grizzly replaced a Jet bench top model.
  4. Hummingbirds are some of my favorites!
  5. LOL, I did have the same problem... just kept moving my chair back.
  6. Wow, quite a thing to do justice to such a beautiful car, but you sure did.
  7. I bought a set of 10-Piece Mini Diamond Needle File Set (6" Total Length 150 Grit Diamond File) by Kalim from Amazon last fall and really like them. Don't seem to clog and are the right coarseness for me. Also bought a set for my daughter when she started scrolling.
  8. My Mother's day gifts for the wife are delayed in shipping. Fortunately I had these pretty much ready to go. The patterns are from scrolleronline. Padauk, maple and walnut.
  9. Beautiful work, once again really makes me want to try my hand at it.
  10. From the wooden teddy bear.
  11. That is outstanding! I've always enjoyed both versions of the movie.
  12. Great job. I've got a dragon pattern in stock that I plan on cutting soon or later.
  13. Very cool. I never missed the Partridge and Brady families on Friday night.
  14. Amazing! I'm itching to try my first complex fret project like that.
  15. Looks good to me. My favorite wood for 3D scrolling is basswood. Others work well, finer grain and softer the better. I almost start with a #5 blade and adjust up or down as needed. I almost always finish with boiled linseed oil.
  16. Not to hijack this thread, but does anyone know of good places to buy said size drill bit at decent prices? I'm thinking a dozen at a shot.
  17. Steve's patterns are just great. Such a great selection and all free. He deserves a metal from the scrolling community.
  18. Beautiful work! That type of fret work is on my "to-do" list.
  19. Thanks a lot everyone, very much appreciated.
  20. I'm pretty sure that they're all Steve Good patterns. Thanks!
  21. I've haven't been around any forums, but I have been at the saw. Some of my recent. Hope everyone is doing well.
  22. Beautiful work! What's bubinga like to cut? It's one I've never used and I'm usually a little apprehensive of exotics.
  23. I've made a few and those have either been pine or basswood. I find that basswood works well on the scroll saw, nice fine grain and easy cutting.
