  1. Nice work! I have a pattern that Steve Good made for me last year after Tampa won the SuperBowl. I was patiently waiting for Steve to post a pattern and he never did so I sent him an email asking if he was going to. He replied that he doesn't always make patterns for each sporting event but he included in his email a pattern for me. I have the pattern on the wood and the pilot holes drilled but that is as far as I got. If things go my way, I may be able to ask him for another SuperBowl pattern for this year! LOL Side note, I was never a Brady fan or NE fan. I never really knew how good Brady was because I never watched them unless they were playing Tampa or a few games in the playoffs. But once Brady got to Tampa,, I realized that he is pretty damn good. Like Larry Bird,, never cared for him but he was a heck of a player.
  2. Thank you sir,, much appreciated.
  3. Hey Bob,, thank you very much!
  4. Thanks for the compliment.
  5. Thanks Marg, I hope so.
  6. Thank you sir,, Another similarity between this live edge and marriage.... they are both rough! LOL
  7. It's an image I believe I found on Pinterest. I'll look for it. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/760193612081212308/
  8. Appreciate it.
  9. Thank you, Ma'am!
  10. Thanks, my best one yet and I don't even get paid for this one! LOL
  11. My daughter is in a wedding next month, a girl she grew up with is getting married. My wife asked me to make one of these for her (him). I have made 7 or 8 of these in the last few years but I'm really digging the live edge's on this one. All of the others that I have made were clean cuts with no live edge. I just couldn't let myself cut this natural edge off. The bottom is Walnut and the top piece is made from Cherry. My wife cut the name's and design out on her Cricut. A couple coats of General's Arm-r-seal.
  12. Nice job! Make ya dizzy just looking at it.
  13. Very nice piece! A few months ago my neighbor was replacing his kitchen cabinets. He asked me if I wanted all of the doors, he said that they were solid oak. Well because of all the pieces you cut from Oak, I told him that I would take them. A couple of days ago I decided to cut a piece from the center of one of the doors to try a portrait,, not solid Oak! LOL To the trash they go. Oh well.
  14. A co-worker and his fiancé' recently had a baby boy together and asked if I could make something for them. He has a son from a previous relationship and she has a daughter from a previous relationship. I decided to make them a Family Tree. I showed him a few ideas and he liked them. One of the things that he requested was a little black heart on each name. He is the customer and the customer gets what they want! LOL I used 1/4" BB ply and the wife cut the names out on her Cricut. A couple coats of spray finish to top it off. Really wasn't any room for a metal hanger on the back so I gave him a Command Strip to use. He could use one of the "loops" to hang it with a small nail if he chooses to.
  15. Absolutely awesome!
  16. They caught my eye when a few people here made them a while back.
  17. Thanks! I sold my motorcycle last year and used the money to build the fireplace. Ornaments were a last minute idea, so they had to be simple and fast.
  18. The fire is awesome! We don't get to use it much here in sunny Florida.
  19. I needed some quick and simple ornaments for an outdoor tree. Something that I didn't have much time invested in if/when they get destroyed by being outside. We finally got our outdoor fireplace finished on our back porch and the wife put a tree next to it. So that's where the ornaments come into play. The Santa's I've seen here on this site a couple of times and thought that I would also make us a set for the outdoor tree. My wife did the painting. Only one of them have the white balls on the hat's in the picture,,, the cats got to the rest of them! LOL The Merry Christmas pieces hanging on the fireplace were cut from a piece of branch from my Sycamore tree, my wife did the lettering on her Cricut.
  20. This design was popular here last year,, the grain in your piece is cool looking.
  21. I was wondering the same! LOL
  22. Nice looking sign, I like the distressed look around the edges. The font is cool also.
